"The history of the property is stunning and still present in the hall, as the bar room. We can recommend staying at this historic place. Inhale the original wall paintings in the bar room. So we are happy, we did so. Expectations regarding the rooms should not be too high. On the positive, still with solid, historic furniture. Good. At some parts a little further maintenance might help to improve customer experiance. Regardless, the room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpfull....

"We were banned from the property! They only answer their phones sporadically. You may or may not have a reservation unless you talk to the front desk. Good luck. It is not staffed. "The comfort of the place is rudimentary but the experience is very special. To stay in a chickee in the middle of the Everglades for a night is an amazing experience.
