A fantastic place to stay in Muscat

We were upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The room was huge and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay The gym facilities and pool were fantastic and the service is top notch!

The location was easy to find and situated perfectly for visiting Muttrah (fort, souq, coastline). The service has been amazing, everybody was exceptionally friendly. We could even check in earlier! Food at breakfast, dinner and at the pool has been full of variety and always tasty. Rooms have always been clean and ours has been quite large. Furniture is a little bit outdated but that did not bother us.

Pros: • Excellent service with very friendly staff who consistently went above and beyond to help • Wonderful breakfast with a rich and varied selection • Very clean room Cons: • Hotel feels very old and outdated • First room had a noticeable smell of old carpet and furniture • Overall atmosphere felt more like a 3-star hotel • Food and drinks are crazily overpriced compared to options outside the hotel Overall verdict: • Due to the outdated condition of the hotel and poor value for money, I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

The staff at the hotel were genuinely friendly and very helpful throughout our stay, which we greatly appreciated. However, we felt that the overall experience did not offer good value for the price. The property is somewhat worn down, and the breakfast was both overpriced and of rather average quality. The outdoor pool closes quite early at 6 p.m., and while the indoor pool stays open longer, it unfortunately isn’t accessible to children. Construction was taking place by the pool area and created noise throughout the day
