Mediocre with moments of success

Mediocre service: we were met by a male receptionist who didn’t even bother to make an effort not register our card on our room, which meant that every time we would order anything - we would get chased around with a credit card machine. Made no sense. Hotel is really run down with cheap interiors and rooms and interiors are kind of like a 3 star Best Western close to any European airport built 20 years ago and not renovated since then. Breakfast however was some of the best we have had at any hotel in Oman and all the female staff at reception were kind, smiling and attentive.

Brand new hotel, spacious, clean but lacking some basic amenities. You can't access any steaming service or mirror device to TV which is very surprising for a new hotel/TV. Also surprising is lack of towels, you get two bath towels and no other for drying hands etc.

Amazing pool, friendly staff, nice, tasteful decor, close to the airport, fast internet. Sauna was not hot the several times I went to use it.
