Clean and comfortable Seaview room. Room and hotel in general could use a bit of upgrading; I felt we traveled back to the early 70's, but in very good condition. Breakfast buffet is good and plentiful. We also had an excellent dinner at the restaurant.

The Oceanview room is incredible overlooking Xlendi Bay. Everything is at the doorstep including great hikes and viewpoints. The room itself is older and dated with only 2 plugs for gadgets. It's tiny, quite cramped and the bed hard. Very average room but very clean with lots of hot water. The TV is old and only Maltese channels available. However the WIFI is good. The staff are excellent and the breakfast good. Free parking in the public lot, literally 50 feet from the front door. I'm not sure if we would stay there again due to the uncomfortable bed and tiny room, but it's definitely a good value and fabulous location. 4/5 Stars.

Awesome location on the beautiful waterfront. The evening meals were outstanding and the staff very welcoming. Gozo is experiencing frequent power cuts and this hotel has a generator so we were unaffected. Fantastic 3 days.

The hotel itself was authentic and beautiful! The view from our room was unmatched, overlooking the marina. The staff were lovely as well! Our server made so many great recommendations for traditional gozitan wine and food dishes. The front desk staff were also lovely!

Whilst the room was quite small, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower needed replacing but, again, the bathroom was clean and functional. The staff were excellent. If you stay here, pay for the rooms with a balcony view of the bay - just stunning.

San Andrea: balcony door can lock you out.

This place has a very good location, right on the promenade with a great view over the water. The room was a bit tired, I needed to 'fix' the shower so that it stayed up. We were also locked out on the balcony one night and needed to call down to a passer by to help us to notify the reception to let us back in. The response from the management was not reassuring that this would not happen again - so beware of this. Ok breakfast. Best was to be able to quickly walk down to the water for swimming in the morning. Also very good parking in the area.

Hotel San Andrea made our trip to Malta more than perfect. The staff were attentive, kind and created a very warm and comforting environment. There is always a member of staff available for any queries or to provide tourist information about Gozo. The room was very clean and hygienic with great care taken to give you the full experience. The food at the hotel restaurant was absolutely sublime, with a great price included with every hotel reservation. The waiting staff were very attentive and took great care of you during your meal. Would recommend Hotel San Andrea to anyone coming to Malta and we will definitely be back!!! Thank you!

Thr property is located by the water and there were numerous restaurants nearby. A short bus ride took us to Victoria which was a nice place to walk and experience Gozo. Upon arrival, Alexandra was very helpful. At the colocated restaurant, Milan and the other staff went out of their way to make our dining experience great. The small room was fine except there were spider webs on the ceiling, the bathtub had hair in it when we arrived and the windows don't mute the noise from the street. Otherwise it was comfortable.

Shower head didn’t stay upright, so had to have handheld showers. Free self parking means street parking in the nearby lot - we assumed this was within the property. Rooms were much smaller than they appeared in photos. I dealt only with one receptionist who was lovely, but my friend asked another to reset her room key once it stopped working and she was told not to hold it near her phone… mine had also expired the same day, so doubt it was our fault. Anyway, stay was fine and great location, best location to stay in Gozo. Plenty of restaurants and the breakfast did the trick. Recommend if you plan on only using the room to sleep in.

We had a fantastic stay at San Andrea. The staff were very welcoming, the views superb, it's right on the water in a nice quiet setting. The breakfast was lovely. I would recommend staying here and we would love to come back
