What a nice stay - it met my " 3-C's " for a hotel: Convenient - bus stop just 60 steps from the front door Courteous - Staff was very helpful Comfortable - clean quiet room Very easy ride to train,then just 10 minutes to Munich Messe. Will plan to stay again next trip.

Greta place to stay

Great hotel. Easy access to public transport. About a 15 min. Train ride into MUNICH by S-train and bus. Newly built, clean room, amenities as described. No dressers for clothes, so you have to live out of your suitcase. There is a small closet to hang clothes. Would use again on next trip. Good value for your money

The biggest problem was my flight was delayed and I didn’t arrive at the hotel until just after midnight. THEY HAVE NO NIGHT DESK SERVICE. The entrance was locked and lights were out. I walked next door to the Holiday Inn, ready to pay for a second room, but thankfully the desk clerk there was able to call a number he knew to get a code at IBIS to enter and get my room key out of a lockbox. How can a hotel in a major city in 2025 not have night service at the desk? It’s a hotel. Flights are late all the time. Get with it, IBIS. Don’t stay here unless your flight arrives between noon and 18:00.

Fairly average stay. One problem I had was when checking in, I was told breakfast was INCLUDED in my stay from the receptionist on Monday June 24th around 3pm. The next morning, as I am plating food for myself (as there was no one at reception around 9am on June 25th) I was stopped by one of the meal workers who told me I had to pay 18 Euros for breakfast because it didn't show in their system. I understand English is a second language in Germany, but there is a huge difference between INCLUDED and PROVIDED for a reservation. I received verbal communication from the reception that it was INCLUDED, therefore, I was under the impression that my breakfast would be available to me for me each morning for my 2-night stay. Oddly enough, when I was checked for my reservation details, there were plenty of other people who were freely enjoying breakfast without being checked in. As a person of colour, this reflects really badly on your part and this became a common issue I faced staying in Munich. Very unprofessional and a great way to let your guests go hungry without having anyone in the front to communicate properly in the first place. I will never book with Ibis or this property ever again.
