Total Night Mare- Worst Hotel Everseen

Mainthing don’t trust on the images it is all about tricky photography 1. Boiler was not working and water was too cold. 2. Half of the time water supply was cutted off 3. We booked AC room and for 8 hrs it was not working and nobody is bothered about our complaints 4. No drinking water facility 5. Even hangers were not available 6. No extensions in the room 7.There service was pathetic for anything we need to ask them 6-7 times thn only they were responding all the staffs are illetrate and rural boys without lack of any knowledge Who so ever is giving good review for sure its fake review by hotel guys only. I would say if you want to ruin your trip than goto this place else never think if they give 90% discount thn too. I request expedia to remove this hitel from their website as it is spoiling their market value too.

It was not as shown in photographs. The services were too too slow. The water bottle ordered @8 pm arrived in the room @10 pm. The staff work was also served lately. The staff was not co-operative & supportive....

Great place for the lower end of Mumbai prices

The staff at Hotel New India were very helpful. Our bags did not arrive for 4 days due to an airline failure and they were always helping us to contact them and get the bags delivered. We also had to stay for longer and they made it work without us swapping rooms. They even offered us a great exchange rate without any fees to help during the cash crisis.

Bedbugs. Be warned!

The staff was great but the rooms were truly terrible. Extremely dirty bathroom and bedbugs. I got bitten all over. The first room I was shown had no window and there was mold on the walls and ceiling. Also the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and there was urine on the toilet seat and floor. I'm used to ruffing it but really...

Worst Hotel I Ever Booked Online

Right from check-in, the experience was bad. First, the clerk at the desk didn't even notice I came in. After I made my presence known, he told me check in would take about half an hour. Half an hour!? I asked if I could have the wifi password so that I could check things online while he checked me in. The clerk replied that he could not until I was checked in. I decided to go around the block instead of waiting inside. When I came back, the clerk told me I had booked a regular room and that regular rooms only had shared bathrooms. So unless you book a superior room, you don't have your own toilet and shower. Be aware of that. But since they were out of regular rooms, he would upgrade me to a superior one. However, it seems I got an upgrade to a not-so-superior room. The room I got did have its own bathroom, yes, but it could only be accessed through a 4-foot high corridor, had no windows, no A/C and no fans. It was suffocating. Also, the bathroom's ceiling is so low I had to crouch a little every time I went in. Not to mention that it didn't have toilet paper and looked liked it had been built decades ago and let to decay since. You would get more value from a youth hostel. If you are looking for a real hotel, pay a bit more or go further north.

Cheap for mumbai, but not worth it

Smelly room, bed smelled very bad, they only change the bottom sheet so your blanket and pillow stink of the last mans sweat as there is no aircon. Really bad experience in this area too. There is rubbish everywhere the whole street smells of s*** and the people are very rude they all stare at you like you aren't human. staff were ok, apart from the ones that stood outside your room shouting all night and early morning. Also the mosque next door sings through its speakers very loud from 5am throughout the day.

Friendly and clean hotel

Late review, but I still have to give a full 5 stars to this budget hotel. People at reception speaks fluent English, they are really helpful and I was happy that they recommend upgrade to AC room. If you have problems to get to the hotel, you really should call to reception, they will certainly help! Room was very good, compact size, nice clean bed, big pillow and all. AC was great, personally I would have boiled in Mumbai city heat without it. Great veg restaurant near by, just ask for directions. If I would stay longer, a small train station is not far and I think you could easily get to main train station from there. Taxis at Mumbai are really trying to rob tourists. I was tired, hungry and was not careful enough and my taxi ride cost me too much because meter was not valid. Perhaps prefer black and yellow cabs. Taxi from/to airport should cost around 500Inr but for tourist it's hard to negotiate.. While my stay there was some problems with wifi, but that was not too bad for me. Mobile phone signal to my room with my operator was not good. Overall nice experience and good sleep!

So welcoming and kind, we'd come back again!

After a long and delayed journey we arrived at 6 in the morning to find them all sleeping. We were 9 hours late and turned up to kindness, generosity and a welcoming smile. Since then on we have received more of this kind of treatment and would love to come back. Slight confusion with the air-conditioning but once we grew in competence it kept the room at a refreshing temperature compared to the humidity outside the hotel. Full mirror, clean sheets (not matching, but this is minor and no issue for us) and breakfast served to your door- great! The people really made the place what it is and helped wherever possible. The rooms have signs of use, but nothing out of the ordinary, bathroom was kept clean but showed more signs of use, though a shower, toilet and sink all in working order that felt fine to use, most would have a nice time staying here.

次は使わない。

チェックアウト時にムンバイ市内の観光を手配すると言ってきたが計画しているからと断ってもしつこく食い下がってきた。パスポートも預けなければいけなかったし、共同風呂、共同トイレでイマイチだった。Googleマップでホテルニューインディアで検索すると違う場所を表示するため迷った。事前によく確認する必要がある。

Preiswertes H. in lebendigem muslimischen Viertel

Preis-Leistung-Top! Saubere Zimmer, saubere Gemeinschaftsbäder (3 Stück) Nettes Personal, sehr netter Chef. Zu Fuß ca. 20-25 min vom Victoria Terminus entfernt. Mit Taxi 5 Minuten. Frühstück ist inklusive und sehr gut! Kann ich nur empfehlen auch wenn es sicherlich Hotels mit besserer Lage gibt. Ach ja, um ca. 5:30 weckt euch der müezzin, da direkt nebenan eine Moschee liegt. Nach 10 Minuten könnt ihr aber weiterschlafen:)

написано с ванной, на самом деле нет Общее состояние первого номера. Грязно, постель рваная, в пятнах, одна стена ободранная, душевой кабинки нет, просто кран сверху около туалета, развернуться негде. Полотенец нет, попросили выдать. Выдали абсолютно грязное везде, мы им только полы и вытерали. а сами вытерлись своей 4дневной одеждой, она и то чище была, полотенце купили на след день. Ночью за стеной льется постоянно вода без беруш не заснешь, окон нет на улицу. Это у них считается еще хороший номер. итак комната вторая: Вторая комната находилась на 3 этаже, уже были отдельно душ и туалет. На удивление этот менее улучшеный номер был получше, почище простынь, окно, и более менее свежий воздух и нет ободранных стен, хоть и душ и туалет общий, но душ все же удобнее есть где развернуться. Но все было хорошо до первой ночи, потому что около 5 утра, вас будит громкоговоритель мечети, которая находится через дом. Причем громкоговоритель сломан, и орут кое-как. Не спасают даже беруши. Только после 5мин этого завывания можно дальше спать. и все бы ничего, он персонал уже что-то начинает орать по утрам в коридоре, и звонит мерзкий громкий телефон. Вообщем выспаться не удалось.

Worst experience. We were put in another hotel.

The worst I ever had. They told us that rooms were not free and put us in another hotel. The room had no ventilation and stinking. I talked to them including the Expedia on the same day and they were not willing to help.

No Room Available with Booking

Not a good or safe location. Arriving at the hotel I was taken to another location, being told it would be the same hotel... After a 5 minute walk down a dark side alley, we arrived at Hotel Karim. I had made a booking for Hotel New India, and was traveling alone so didn't feel particularly comfortable staying down a dark alley by myself. When back at Hotel New India, I was told there were no rooms available, even though they had received my booking... They didn't have a room available for me. Very disappointing after having a delayed flight and arriving at the hotel at night. Was left stranded, walking around looking for a hotel in the dark, no internet or phone... As someone who is familiar and has lived in the city long term before, I managed. But would definitely not recommend for anyone coming for the first time. It's worth to research your area and pay a little extra... for the sake of your safety. Unfortunately Mumbai's rates have gone up, and it is not a particularly backpacker friendly area.. Gave us too much problems

The worst thing was that even when I made a reservation 2 weeks ago, our room was occupied upon arrival. They said I was late and they gave someone else the room. They did offer us another place for two nights stay, and we accepted it because we were exhausted from our 16-hour flight. However, this was totally unacceptable. The place we got was quite bad as well. The room was... usable but the place is in the middle of nowhere and the walls were falling off. The original hotel (New India) is located near a station, but difficult to find. Moreover, the neighborhood is just crammed with people especially in the evenings. I am not recommending this place.
