「There were some nice things about this property - overall it was well maintained on pleasant grounds. The breakfast was also very good. However, the air conditioner in our room did not work which resulted in a hot fitful sleep, and a musty-smelling room. The mattress is also not what I would expect for a hotel of this calibre. When we mentioned the concern about the temperature to staff they simply said “oh I’m sorry.” When we went to use the pool we were unable to access it as a swimming lesson...

「Wifi is a bit slow. It is a beautiful golf course in Ireland. It is a great location for sea views and walking. It has a lots of facilities for families.」

「Loved our stay here. My only concerns were the difficulty to find parking nearby and the check in process was a little confusing since you have to run across the street to pick up the keys. Also, the building is sandwiched between 2 other buildings and was hard to find.」

「I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help.」

「Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.」

「If I could rate our stay higher I would. Everything was exceptional. The people who operate the lodge are kind, helpful, and just all around awesome. They let us store our bags ahead of check-in and hangout in the common area post check out. The room itself was super clean. Awesome spot, good value and vibes. We'll 100% stay here again, highly recommend.」

「Love central location. We had a great dinner in the bar and enjoyed the musical entertainment. It is an older hotel and noise carries. Someone was banging doors from 10-12.00 very disturbing. Only real suggestion is more and better quality towels.」
