Amazing spot. Big property with 3 beach’s to choose from. Rooms and amenities are great. Hotel staff were excellent, service with a smile. Some long waits for food at restaurant but island time isn’t a bad thing! Close to the airport but a bit far from Apia and other attractions in Upolu so bring cash for taxis. Best spot to book in Samoa!
We had the BEST massages ever at the Manaia Spa. While the walk up to the spa is a bit ‘tired’ the walk is more than compensated by the thoroughly professional and therapeutic massages we experienced. The staff here saw that our needs were met at every interaction. It is good to see that this resort is endeavouring to build its good reputation under new strategic management. We have booked again for Christmas with the family. Our grand kids will LOVE the pool!!
This resort is in a stunning location and has great potential. The views are beautiful and the grounds well maintained. Rooms are a good size and all (I think) face the ocean.
The staff are friendly and welcoming (as you expect in Samoa!).
I believe the property is recently under new management - when I visited (Easter Sunday 2026) it seemed surprisingly quiet.
I hope that the new owner/management (?) builds on these foundations. For me, obvious steps include:
- Food offerings that better reflect fresh local produce and are more inspiring/unique
- Cocktails that are more memorable and again have some with local individuality
- Culture - find ways to show a little more oflocal culture, history and nature.
Ultimately this was a nice place to stay on my last night in Samoa - with a v early from the airport next door - and would similarly be a good place if arricing too.
Liked the location that it was on the beach with good clear waters.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Cleanliness
Friendly and impeccable staff in particular breakfast crew. They were the most genuine and catered to our quick needs. Breakfast buffet menu of great quality. Minor issue with state of room upon check in, however upon advising front desk staff, matter was taken care of immediately. Will stay here again.

Good all round really expensive for what you pay for. But staff are amazing
Overall had a fantastic 7 nights, staff were very welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had a good holiday, especially considering the fact I was nursing a broken and a fractured rib from the previous 7 nights in the village, meals were delicious and the rooms were beautiful and clean and well serviced - very comfortable bed! Just love Samoa - highly recommend Sheraton - will be going back that’s for sure!
Our rooms were not serviced, had to repeat myself a few times with different people about my booking/account errors. Breakfast needed to have some traditional food options, eg: fresh coconut, service in the dining area was very good, public toilets need regular cleaning. Pool area was great.
Such a relaxing place to stay with several beach options and pool. Staff were very hospitable. Massage was divine….under the trees with the bird song. I would definitely return.
Staff are amazing, so kind and really helpful. Facilities are beautiful with stunning sunsets. About an hour out of Apia but transport options available. Can’t recommend for a relaxing holiday enough.
Lovely location great for seeing turtles poking the head out from the water, the beach access is challenging as it’s shallow for a long way out and quite cloudy water. But like I said you can see the turtles heads out of the water and it’s a lovely setting for a sunset! Very convenient for the airport if you arriving late or leaving early!
