「Managed to book the last room available a twin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. Said own bathroom but was across the public hallway. At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out. Breakfast was great with outlook over country side.」

「Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questo hotel, a circa 25 minuti da Inverness. La posizione è comoda sia per andare verso nord, sia per scendere verso il lago Loch Ness, e il paesino in sé è abbastanza servito. Il prezzo è ottimo, ma siamo rimasti un po’ delusi dalla struttura in sé una volta arrivati. Se non avete pretese e’ un ottimo punto di appoggio, ma l’aspetto generale e gli arredi risultano piuttosto vecchi e fatiscenti. La nostra camera era spaziosa, il bagno era basico, piccolino ma...

The food was great, we recommend the scallops, duck and venison dishes. We stayed in room 6 which was lovely and a really nice ensuite bathroom. Very quiet and slept well so can’t complain!」

「I pre-booked the hotel weeks before I traveled. The website said that the retreat house had restaurants, lounge, and bar amenities that I thought would be useful for my stay. The restaurant was not opened when we arrived. The bar//lounge had no staff. We asked the only employee we ever saw when the restaurant would be open and she said it’s only open for breakfast.
