Top Mudgee Wine Region Hotel Reviews
The Clairfield Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay, a little walk from Mudgee centre. Beautiful styling."
The Cudgee at Mudgee
10/10 Excellent
"A beautifully renovated motel with clean, spacious rooms and comfy beds. Nice big grass area out the back for the kids to run around and play. Parking out the front of the room. I wish we had nicer weather so we could have had a swim in the pool!"
Wanderlight Motor Inn
8/10 Good
"Great room. Upstairs with no lift, but stairs easy to climb. Brilliant little eating place a few doors up, Farm and Food or something like that. Beds were fine pillows very low."
Soldiers Motel
8/10 Good
"My room was a curious mix - mostly good, with just a little bad... not enough to spoil my stay. The bed was big, clean and reasonably comfy. There was everything you might need to feed yourself - fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, tea and coffee, washing-up liquid etc. It was nice to have a bath and shower and - as I was on the ground floor - my own parking spot. The small outdoor swimming pool was a bit cold but I dipped my toes in all the same! The pool had a couple of comfy loungers next to it. Each room had a little table and two chairs outside, which was a nice touch. The only downside to that is that large family groups would congregate and sit around outside someone's room, and chat until late - not great if, like me, you're the guy next door who isn't in the group and wants to get some sleep. The nights were on the cool side and the heating worked well. The worst thing for me was the bathroom, which had ceiling / wall mould in several places, cracked tiles and the enamel peeling off the bath. The bathroom was in serious need of renovations, while the rest of the room was fine. What I didn't know until I booked this stay is that Mudgee is ALWAYS busy with festivals / sporting events / weddings / misc other things, and rooms are (a) hard to find and (b) often expensive. Given that my room was only $140 per night in October, I can't bring myself to criticise it too much... it wasn't perfect but to be fair, it was really good value and I'd go back again."
Ningana Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were amazing, room was very clean. Close to everything."
The Parkview Hotel Mudgee
10/10 Excellent
"Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Love the accommodation, room was beautiful decorated, bed comfortable. Bathroom is lovely with all the amenities. Only downfall, our room was on the street corner and it was noisy."
BIG4 Mudgee Holiday Park
10/10 Excellent
"Cabin clean, shower to small, everthing else was good."
Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel
8/10 Good
"Clean and excellent but would suggest any seniors book a downstairs room as the stairs are difficult if mobility is an issue. We would be happy to recommend this Hotel and would definitely stay again."
The Horatio - Suites & Motel
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great 2 night stay at the Horatio. Everything was comfortable and clean. The place smells fresh and is well ventilated. It is a bit of a walk to the town centre."
