「This hotel is amazing! We had a short but excellent stay here! The property is so beautiful, location is great, and the staff were so welcoming, nice, and caring! Joann with the restaurant made us feel like home and we enjoyed her attitude and grace. The food was also excellent. Definitely want to come back and stay here longer! Also the park is close by and so are all the amazing restaurants and sites. 」

「Ein altes Gebäude, das aber laufend modernisiert wurde. Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Frühstück ist gut. Im Barbereich bewegt sich die Barkeeperin leider keinen cm hinter der Theke weg. Der Gast muss dann halt die Tische reinigen. (Getränke holen sowieso) Geht gar nicht.」

「Staff is very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the family suite and it was perfect for us. Bring a hairdryer and hair conditioner if that is important to you. We added the breakfast buffet which was a great value. There is a connected pub with a kitchen which was great after a long day of travel. 」

「We booked the hotel due to food being served, when we arrived there was no food during the week and only at weekend which was not reflected on the website. Room was not as described, very small, en-suite had mould all in shower, ceiling and it was dirty. ( see photos below ). Bed was damp, cold, springs had gone in mattress, room smelt of damp, was cold, carpet dirty very worn and overall the room was dirty. Carpets in the hallway was dirty and worn, needs to be updated and some money spent in...

「The room was pleasant, well furnished, clean and tidy. My only minor complaint would be that for some reason it was very warm in the room which was surprising considering the radiator was turned off and it was late March. The staff are excellent as is the location which is literally a couple of minutes from the Main Street. The breakfast was excellent and made to order with plenty of imaginative choices. I would highly recommend as it is reasonably priced as well. 」

「There was no specific address in Expedia, so Google maps took us to a residential area about a km from the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel was on the same road, so it was easy to see after driving further. Once there, the check in was easy and the hotel was very quiet. The service was good and the bar and restaurant were nice. 」

「Really wish I'd booked at least 2 nights here at this beautiful property in this beautiful location! I was visiting from USA w/ my wife and we had great time. I took a little carriage ride across the street through the park, saw the Muckross house, saw some old buildings, had some great strolls, and had fun at the spa as well. Amazing service and beautiful clean rooms! Thanks for the hospitality. 」
