I had a great stay at Hotel Santuario. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, as well as knowledgable about great places to go in Pompei and Napoli. The location was perfect, right in the center of Pompei within walking distance to everything. I would definitely stay here again!

We were a family of five staying in two rooms, and we really enjoyed our time here. The location is excellent – right next to the cathedral and just a short walk to the entrance of the Pompeii archaeological park. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and everything was clean, both in the rooms and the bathrooms. The small balcony overlooking the square and the cathedral was a lovely spot to sit and take in the view. The rooms are simple and comfortable. They could easily be made a bit cozier with some color or artwork on the walls – just a small suggestion, not a complaint. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Pompeii.

The location is the best in town thats why i stayed here . There was never any hot water only one day imagine warm showers that was bad. Hard beds hard pillows . Breakfast very minimal . Only good for maybe 1 or 2 nights. It was just ok

Great option to stay in Pompei. The hotel is clean, in a centre of Pompeii, the ruins, the train station and the Santuario are walkable. The breakfast is good. The front desk personnel are very kindly, they always helped us with any requirement. The only bad thing is that there is not WiFi in the rooms, just in the lobby.

Nice old historic building is clean enough, but needs love of the handy helpers kind of work men. Host took good care of me going above and beyond to see to it I was taken care of. He even drove me in his car at 9am one morning giving me tired body a break from long walk to Porta Marina entrance of Pompeii. For a reasonably priced stay in Pompei right in chraming old city center, book Santuario as your sanctuary. Only real complaint is the heavy smoke of wood stoves and deisel engines burnt my lungs a bit harsh leaving me coughing and gasping at times. Everywhere is becoming like that with air quality as the future arrives. Host went above and beyond to see to it I was connected via wifi with phone and laptop. Password needs to be changed to something easier. Cheers all.

A lovely traditional Italian hotel. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Our room and the hotel were immaculately clean. Okay, so there was no wifi reception in the room, but so what? The wifi reception in the public reception area was very good. The hotel is central to everything and a few hundred yards from the ruins of Pompeii. I would definitely stay here again. x

Good value in a great location

We booked this last minute after worrying about not getting back to Sorrento following a concert attending at the amphitheatre, which was just a short walk away — a big plus in the heat. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be given an upgrade, and the manager also offered complimentary breakfasts for both of us, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was comfortable and overlooked the main square in front of the cathedral, giving us a real sense of place. The air conditioning was very welcome, especially with temperatures hitting the 30s, and we managed a decent night’s sleep. The location is excellent — close to restaurants, bars, and, of course, the Pompeii Ruins. Breakfast was ok, although a toastie grill might help speed things up a bit in the morning rush. The staff were friendly and the coffee hit the spot. For the price we paid, in the location this was, and for the convenience, this was good value 😊
