Breakfast was good. Jacuzzi wasn’t working or not turned on so we couldn’t use it, and we were disappointed by that. At the time of booking we were specifically looking hotel with a Jacuzzi or hot tub. Other then that it is ok place

Kommen sehr gerne wieder
Tolles Preis leistungsberhältnis, sehr guter Service , Personal top, sehr sehr sauber, Matratzen optimal . Essen ist sehr gut, Frühstücken mehr als ausreichend. Kaffee im Frühstücksraum bescheiden aber der an der Bar ist sehr gut. Essen im Hotel ist günstiger als so manches Lokal im Ort. Der Garten ist sehr schön. Meine einzigen Tipps für das Hotel: in der Sauna fehlt Trinkwasser… das geht nicht dass man hier nicht trinken darf grad in der Sauna … und abends war das Wasser nicht mehr heiß zum duschen grad lauwarm. Aber sonst sehr sehr gut

Nice hotel let down by bad service
Nice hotel in a nice location. Lovely rooms and a complete breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, the whole experience was let down by the receptionist during check in who couldn’t find our reservation. She treated us as an inconvenience even after reviewing our reservation on my phone, made us wait while she got in touch with a manager but then insulted us in Hungarian not knowing my girlfriend could understand her. To top it off, she didn’t inform us that the car park directly in front of the main entrance and where google maps directs you, isn’t the hotel car park, resulting in us getting a parking ticket. I explained this to a different receptionist who replied that there are signs saying it is a public car park. Again, not exactly sympathetic. How simple would it be to ask at check if you’ve parked in the hotel car park?

bei zweiten blick sehr sehr gut. kompliment.
wer vor dem Haupteingang steht, wird zuerst denken, naja, eine 3 sternebude wie so viele vertreterhotels. erst beim betreten des zimmers wurde mein ganze Aufmerksamkeit geweckt. alles sehr grosszügig, geschmackvoll gestaltet, und picobello sauber. aber das allerbeste war das frühstück, nicht üppig, aber von sehr guter Qualität. dies hatte zur folge, dass ich doch 2 x mal zum nachschlag für das rührei mit dem köstlichen schinken gehen musste. einfach sehr gut.kompliment. habe schon viel rührei in Hotels gegessen, aber dies ist eine wirklich leckere Kombination mit dem warmen Kochschinken. im frühstücksraum habe ich auch den blick auf den fluss mit den enten usw. genossen. bei meiner Ankunft war mir all dies nicht aufgefallen. insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in zentraler lage.

entspannter Aufenthalt
Das Hotel liegt an einem kleinen Bach und ganz zentral, unser Zimmer war groß und sauber, das Bett bequem. Wir hatten ein grosses Frühstücksbuffet mit gutem Kaffee. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Meine Ganzkörpermassage war super!

Fantastic hotel and lovely grounds
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Our room was huge! It was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was great as was the breakfast. We loved sitting outside on the patio by the creek drinking coffee and reading. We could walk everywhere. There was a garage for our bikes. We would definitely stay again! This was the best hotel of our bike trip.

Man kann alles ohne Auto zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel hat insgesamt eine gute Atmosphäre. Personal sehr bemüht und freundlich.

Grande chambre mais vieux mobilier. Endroit calme mais accès de l'hôtel très difficile et surtout de nuit. Aucune indication ni même le nom de l'hôtel qui ne se trouve même pas sur la rue.

Schönes Hotel in trister Stadt
Das Hotel war toll. Wir hatten keine Zimmer wir hatten eine Wohnung. 2 Zimmer und Bad/WC getrennt. Ich habe ein große Manko. Der Fernsehr war ne alte Röhrenschleuder. Da erwartet man für 4 Sterne eindeutig mehr.

Good Quality Hotel
The hotel is stuated near the old part of the town, backing onto a pedestrianised shopping street. It was clean, staff were helpful and restaurant was very good for evening meals.

Das kleine gepflegte Hotel liegt zentrumsnah und doch sehr ruhig im alten beschaulichen Magyaróvár. Die Infrastruktur des Ortes lebt von Zahn-, Friseur-, Kosmetiktouristinnen und -touristen aus dem nahen Österreich. Das Thermalbad des Ortes wird zunehmend massenhaft von Slowaken aus Bresburg und Umgebung aufgesucht, die die traditionsreiche ungarische Badekultur leider weitgehend und nachhaltig zerstören. Das Hotel selbst liegt in einem kleinen Park zwischen zwei Lajta-Flussarmen. Die Zimmer sind schön mit nur geringen Abnutzungsspuren. Die Gäste sind überwiegend dienstlich Reisende. Leider hat das Hotel seine Preise gegenüber dem Vorjahr um ca. 10% erhöht, unter Berücksichtigung der örtlichen Gegebenheiten und des allgemeinen Trends sicher schon grenzwertig. Für dienstlich Reisende aber gewiss noch kein Problem. Die Frühstücksqualität hat sich leider verschlechtert und erfüllt keinesfalls einen 4*-Anspruch. Die Preise im hoteleigenen Restaurant sind stark überhöht. Unter Berücksichtigung aller Gegebenheiten fühlt man sich in dem Hotel aber sehr wohl.

Large clean room, but some problems
The room was very large and seemed to be newly renovated/built. However, the A/C stopped working at night and it got extremely hot. The breakfast was a very simple, continental style buffet with toast, egg, ham, cheese, yoghurt etc. Overall, an OK experience but nothing extra. The town was very quiet and nice, and we appreciated having free parking at the hotel.
