「We were on a cycle trip Lands End to John O'Groats, and the hotel was fairly close to the route. We were able to get a meal at night and the breakfast was fine too. Hotel were able to offer safe and secure storage for the bike. The hotel is quite a historic building and could perhaps do with some refurbishment, but it had a nice touch of charm about it and the staff were very friendly. 」

「The property was ideal for our needs and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the booking experience through Expedia was abysmal. We were told the property was unavailable, which was untrue. We were offered an alternative of a 3-bed property which supposedly had 6 double beds. Photos on the Expedia website show this is also untrue.」

「This is one of the best places we have stayed on our travels. It is an old thatched cottage style pub resplendent with some lovely original features. Walking in from the car park we loved the wisteria hung entranceway with outdoor tables and chairs. Our room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. I must admit if you sleep with the window open the road outside may disturb you but we kept it closed. We ate in the restaurant on the night of our stay and breakfast...

「This was a beautiful property. The surrounding area was picturebook. We had a very good meal and a good, comfortable sleep. My only issue is the roads were very difficult getting there, so I could not recommend to a tourist with no experience with the narrow roads and remote location.」

「A short 2 night break. The chalet was warm, comfortable and clean. Kitchen, dining area, lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms were all modern and set out very nicely. There is a pub and resteraunt on site with facilities for family groups. The location is within easy reach of Bude, but having your own transport is advisable. 」

「Fabulous hosts, couldn't do enough for us and our family of little dogs, very welcoming and homely. Excellent breakfast and great value for money. Breakfast room is delightful, along with the choice of food. Clean and tidy rooms, very spacious and comfortable 'huge' beds and fluffy warm duvets. The walled terrace area is excellent for outside dog security with lovely views and peaceful surroundings. Packed lunches were made available for us at short notice and were excellent value for money...
