「A little bit old fashioned, but very friendly and clean. Excellent Bed. Spacious and clean bathroom, could need a little fresh up. Good restaurant, excellent breakfast. Excellent and quiet situation. Near to different touristic places.」

「firstly communication was not clear because when I get the guesthouse the person who was assisting me told me that I'm supposed to be in Strand but the direction that I got was for Somerset. I was so confused but assisted me because there was a room that was free in that site. very thing is perfect very apartment is very nit and clean. 」

「Basic accommodations, didnt look like the photos. Less of a hotel bit like staying in someone house. Mold around shower and ok room for a quick overnight stay. 20 min walk to restaurants though. Bed comfy. 」

「Beat all of our expectations, and they were pretty high from reading the reviews! Accommodation is brilliant and has all amenities we could wish for. Great breakfast and we tried the lunch here last day, also superb. But the by far best thing was the staff. We were made to feel super-welcome and got great recommendations for dinners, winetasting and trekking. 「Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed.」

「Comfortable bed, spacious room and very friendly & competent staff. The location, on a walking distance to the city center of Stellenbosch, is also perfect. Only negative: the pool is a bit smaller than on the pictures, you can't swim a lap in there. Also had some problems with the AC.」

「Stayed for five days in connection with a conference. I ordered the smallest room, which was plenty of space for one. Amazing breakfast by order. On site Café. Good location, walking distance from the center of Stellenbosch」

「Coming from the US and having heard all kinds of stories about SA, I will say this property is very safe and secure, with (free) gated parking. I had a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and had a patio area and kitchen. It was enormous. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and eager to share all the great things Stellenbosch has to offer. Laundry service is a plus and so is the location—walkable to any number of great restaurants and cafes. Great value as well. Highly recommended.」

「Genuinely brilliant. There’s a lovely courtyard pool, chef-made breakfast with continental also available if you’re in a rush, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with aircon. Most importantly, the staff are welcoming, helpful and caring. Can’t speak highly enough!」
