First time here and it’s been really great. The room is so clean and tidy. Waterslide was a blast for them. The lady at the counter even lent me her scrunchie for my swim! We saw a lot of kids but never heard one from our room (we also have kids). Thanks for the wonderful little stay!!

We love going here for cheap getaways, not too far from the city that the kids complain about the driving but far enough that it feels like you’re far from home. There are also a few things to do nearby, many within walking distance. The building is new, staff is lovely, and the pool slide is perfect for my kids (ages 7 and 9). A couple of detractors…breakfast is only available until 9am on weekdays and 9:30am on weekends; I’m sure it used to be until at least 10. This is way too early to force vacationing guests to get up. There’s also only one waffle iron (all the other BWs I’ve stayed at have two), so even though we stayed a week, we never even got waffles since the line up was never-ending. The second issue was that, this time, the pool chemicals were out of whack. My kids developed coughs every time they went swimming that had them coughing so hard they vomited, every single time they swam and even for a few hours after getting out of the water. Initially I thought it was because they were playing too hard but when I noticed other kids throwing up also, I looked it up and learned that excess amounts of chlorine can have that effect. I mentioned it to the front desk and they replied that they knew and had already turned it down, but it continued to be a problem every single time my kids went into the water. This has not been a problem during prior visits; it seems like the staff needs more training on how to effectively maintain a pool.

I was going to get an accessible room but the person I spoke with said that the beds are very uncomfortable so I opted with a regular room with a king bed. The room itself was spacious, clean and well laid out. The bathroom was so small that when I brought my walker in with me, I couldn't shut the door which made accessing the walk-in shower impossible. There were also NO SAFETY BARS AT ALL in the regular bathroom. Not even in the shower area.

Only a few people stayed at this hotel while we stayed and they put all of us together in close proximity. It must have been easier for them to clean rooms but I think the guest should come first. We could hear snoring next door so the sound travels. Vacuuming right outside our room at 7:30am and the sound felt like it was inside our room. Beds are so soft. So sorry but we did not like it.

Beautiful, new property. Room was large and super comfortable. Pool was great, had a fun waterslide. Breakfast had a great selection and lots of seating. Only complaint was the parking was kind of weird. Would definitely stay here again.
