「I truly enjoyed my stay here. I loved the historical significance of this hotel. I rated it exceptionally well because one must understand that the hotel is over 175 years old. Sri Lanka has to recognize the importance of preserving this historical part of town. So much potential in these golden age buildings 」

「Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around. Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg. Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us). 「L'accueil à l'hotel s'est déroulé parfaitement. Le check-in fut rapide. La chambre est vraiment comme sur les photos. Nous avions pris la moins chère et il y avait quand même une vue sur la mer. Je n'ai rien à dire sur l'était de la chambre et la propreté. C'est dire que c'est un compliment car je n'hésite pas à critiquer lorsque c'est sale. L'hôtel est au top. Les différentes salles de restaurations sont superbes. En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner, je vous conseille d'y aller le jour-même...
