Eat and sleep like the locals

Loved our stay at Mark’s Place. If you want to experience life in Moorea like the locals then Mark’s the place. Homes are Tahitian styled and built by Mark. Yes there’s the chickens and dogs so expect to wake up around 4-5 am like the locals. FYI there’s no AC but ceiling fan and portable fan makes it comfortable. We appreciated the washing machine for laundry though have to dry clothes outside on clothes line. There are food trucks/store nearby and the convenience store was within 10 walk for food. Mark really takes care of his guests. He helped us get a one day automatic car rental to explore the island with pickup from his place too. Has umbrella if you need one for the inevitable rain in Moorea. 5 stars service with daily room cleaning. We couldn’t have asked for a better host.

We loved our stay at Marks Place. The setting, the accommodation, the location. We felt especially at home with the visiting cats . The nearby shop and Family Pizza food caravan were perfect for our needs. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again

We loved Mark's place!! Mark is one of a kind and was incredibly friendly and helpful to us the entire time. He made sure we had an awesome day each day we stayed on Mo'orea and knew the island inside and out including the best tours & events. The property itself is very unique, with really cool rooms to stay in and it just oozes laid-back island vibes. If you are looking for a 5-star resort, this might not be the place for you, but if you are okay with being a little closer to nature and are looking to experience some Mo'orea magic, look no further!

Amazing stay!!

Awesome place to stay! Mark’s place is awesome. It’s clean, comfortable, beautiful, spacious, quiet except the sound of nature, and staff is incredibly nice. Mark is super hospitable. He makes sure all his guests enjoy their stay and have a good time. You can also keep your luggage there before you check in and after check out. He offers a lot of travel tips and an easy map of sightseeing landmarks. He and his place absolutely made my trip very memorable. Thanks Mark and all your helpful staff for everything!

Marks Place is THE PLACE!

Mark was rad! Really friendly guy who truly loves people and is all about showing you how to have the best time while there! He builds everything on the property, so each small home has an abundance of character and they are very comfortable…felt more like home than a hotel! The location is beautiful and he has bicycle and kayak rentals for a fair price. Also a prime location for getting to the famous surf spot in Haapiti! We will absolutely be back!

I myself was not there, I sent my kids for there senior trip,they stayed 12 days. Every time I spoke to them they told me what a great place it was but more importantly they always said something nice about Mark. How friendly he was how helpful just a cool Guy, and understanding as they had a few mishaps and it wasn't a big deal and they would work it out. Thank you Mark for making it a great and memorable trip for my kids. Hope I get there one day so I can shake hand. Gabe, Audrey, Dequlyn

It’s okay to offer different Villa, you must emphasize it’s a different island not just send address after Client agreed the change. If I know it’s a different island will not agree to the change because there is no more flight or ferry to get to this island that day. It does not cost you a dim to mention it’s very far distance different island than the first Villa that you reserved. I ended stay at hotel after 2 hours of calling around with crying kids due to the weekend hotels sold out.

Awesome place to stay!

Awesome place to stay on Moorea. Kayak , bike rentals great location. Great accommodations and friendly staff. Nice kitchen to cook our own meals. Mark so knowledgeable about the area and so friendly. Haapiti is truly a paradise.

Great property and great location! We rented 4 bungalows for 12 people. Mark guided us to some fun excursions. On site kayaks, snorkel gear, and bikes, made for some fun adventures. Each bungalow was unique and charming. The bathrooms and kitchens are we’ll set up. The location is a short walk to a nice dock for swimming and several access points for kayaking to the reef to surf or snorkel. I highly recommend staying at Marks Place!

Accueil chaleureux, hébergement conformes au site internet. Propre dans un jardin plaint de charme. Seule points négatif la literie un peu dur et les chiens qui aboient en plein nuit ( mais je pense que c’est partout pareil sur Moorea). Séjour très positif à refaire. A oui aussi le rapport qualité prix est excellent.
