「I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. 「Clean & comfortable room. Feel a bit hot and stuffy in sunny summer days, would be better to provide ventilations or fans. Nice food and restaurant. Limited parking spaces at carpark, need to park at back alley.」

「This was a lovely wee family-run hotel that is extremely well located for the University of Aberdeen and some of the historic sites in that area. I rented the single bedroom with ensuite toilet and shower, which was very good for solo-traveller. The bed was nice and comfy and the room had a small table and plenty of storage for clothes. There was also a small ironing board and hair-dryer. The shower was nice and hot, with good strong water pressure, so ideal. The cooked breakfasts were...

「I booked the room for my colleague, she said, "the hotel is dodgy, quite dirty and a hostel with interesting characters, smells of weed and generally no safety… the breakfast was really bad and I was the only one there… it seems like it’s not a hotel that is actually used for tourism/business." She felt so unsafe that she left after the first night. I am writing to request a refund. Please advise.」
