「Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. 「This hotel was overall a good place to stay and not too expensive, so it's something I'd recommend.   Facility was nice and clean.  Plus it was convenient having a restaurant and workout room onsite as well. Location was convenient to city center, so there was a good selection of food within walking distance.」
