The service was excellent. After checking out, we stored our luggage, and when we went to pick it up, the front desk proactively gave us two bottles of water. Room service was prompt as well (usually within 15 miuntes). Also, the room design was very good, featuring an electric stove and a European-style bathtub, which were very aesthetically pleasing. Lastly, the location is very close to major subway lines 1 and 2, which is very convenient for traveling to Notre Dame and old montreal.

This hotel was in a perfect location. It was clean. The staff was friendly and cordial. Parking was with a valet and that was very convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Room was clean and housekeeping did a great job. Appreciated the Nespresso coffee available, and the bathroom was absolutely beautiful—the deep-soaking tub was absolutely worth it. Having said that, this could have been improved with an option for filtered water/carafe in the room, or even a kettle. Would have been a better stay with an improved kitchenette situation. Housekeeping also did arrive quite early in the morning. Finding the parking was also an extreme hassle and I never did find it—parked at a pay lot nearby (which ended up being cheaper) but it took a few phone calls to get to my car as the facility was locked (a little stressful when I was ready to leave!!). Front desk staff could have been more helpful/expeditious. Overall, nice experience for the mega tub, and location was walkable to a few good food spots and also the Musée des beaux-arts (went for the Monkman exhibit). Might stay here again if I’m doing anything special in the area. Thank you!
Mega tub was worth it—bring your own bath salts, bubble bath, bath oil and bath bombs! Then take a cold plunge in the shower. Perfect.

La propiedad es muy acogedora, muy estilo Frances y el servicio fue bastante bueno. Las habitaciones muy limpias y en general todo está muy limpio y agradable. Las amenidades de gran nivel. Si pretendes estar cerca del centro de Montreal, este lugar está perfectamente ubicado.

The hotel itself was very beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We were never informed prior to booking or at check in that there was active construction taking place. Instead, we were handed a paper apologizing for the inconvenience. Once in our room, the noise was extremely loud and sounded like drilling directly above us. The same drilling started again the next morning at 8:00 AM and woke us up. Had we known about the construction in advance, we would not have booked this hotel. Staff communication was also lacking. We arrived early knowing our room likely would not be ready, which was completely fine. When we asked about parking and whether we could park early, we were told yes but given no direction or explanation. The staff member simply stood there. When I followed up asking about valet parking, she again said yes and pointed to someone nearby rather than clearly explaining the process or offering assistance. While the property itself is visually stunning, the lack of transparency and poor communication left a negative impression. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it.

The staff was lovely, helpful at all times and went above and beyond to make us welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. Even the coffee was good. The hotel exceeded out expectations and we plan to visit again.

What an amazing stay at this property. I travelled with my husband, daughter and mom from the US and stay a total of 6 nights and this place was everything we hoped for and more. First off, the hotel has a great location close to restaurants shops and cafes within walking distance and a block away from. St Katherine street. Our favorite feature was the complementary coffee and espresso machine we had in our room since we are all coffee lovers, they gave us all the complimentary coffee and water we asked for without complaint. Another thing we enjoyed was the service, every staff member we had an encounter with was so nice and polite, five star service !!!! The beds were super comfortable and they gave us robes and slippers as well. But most importantly, the entire property (including our room) was spotless. Even when it was hard to keep the lobby clean because of the constant in and out of people on snowy days, there was a staff member constantly sweeping and cleaning. The two restaurants on property were great, we had appetizers and drink at Benjamin and again, the service from staff amazing!!!! Can not stress enough how much we loved this hotel. We will definitely return.
