The staff at check-in were very friendly and professional. They explained everything clearly and made the process smooth. I paid a $350 deposit with my debit card, and everything went well at first.
The room was clean and comfortable, though the soundproofing was quite poor — I could hear noises from the room next door, even when they were just switching lights on and off.
The main issue came in the morning when we went downstairs for breakfast. None of the elevators were working, and we had no idea why. We had to call the front desk ourselves, and only then were we told that the elevators were temporarily out of service. However, there was no explanation or alternative provided. It took us almost 10 minutes to figure out how to get down on our own.
During check-out, we were asked to wait 10 minutes in the lobby to get our deposit back. But after 10 minutes, there was still no update — we just stood there waiting with no communication at all. This kind of delay is really frustrating, especially when you have a tight schedule.
Another unexpected issue was that the amount I paid didn’t include Wi-Fi, unless I signed up as a member. This wasn’t clearly stated when booking, and it felt unnecessary and confusing.
In this day and age, Wi-Fi should be a basic amenity in any hotel stay.
Overall, the hotel is nice, and the staff are polite and helpful, but the lack of communication and inefficient check-out process really affected the experience.
