Great location, room is spacious and clean. But I would rather not stay at this type of place. I hated that there so many extra charges... late check-out extra $50, one roll of toilet paper, you have to pay for cleaning or turn down service etc. When you add up the cost it's more expensive than regular hotels that I found.

This is not a traditional hotel. Redone from an old warehouse. You need an entry code and an app to get into the front door and your apartment. Not a big staff on hand, but there are people available in a pinch. The apartment is spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, and the king bed is comfortable. This is ideal for an extended stay. Very well located in the old quarter.

We booked a 2 bedroom unit but when we got to our unit it had two beds in one unit. Maybe in Quebec the definition of a bedroom is different but having 2 beds doesn’t constitute 2 bedrooms

Hotel Brésoles was clean, comfortable, super easy to check in/out, and located in the perfect part of town for our first trip. We especially loved the washer/dryer and the full kitchen in our unit. We had a lovely and would happily stay again. Our only complaint was with parking. Do not park at the hotel if your car is bigger than a compact. We had a car that was on the approved list of vehicles, so we figured it would be tight, but doable. It was extremely difficult to maneuver, even with one of us outside the car directing the other. We ended up with a broken side-view mirror.

Very stylishly designed apartments that are new and fresh. I stayed in room 101 which was quite large, beautiful floor to ceiling windows, exposed wood beam ceiling. The location is great - in the heart of lots of restaurants, cafes, and cultural events in Old Montreal. Just be aware this is more of a serviced apartment rather than a hotel - there is no front desk, check in is all online. Access into the hotel and room is by PIN code. There are some some fees for some requests such as additional linens, early check-in, I enjoyed staying here and would stay here again.

You are paying for the location, which is great. The place is just okay though. It’s not actually a hotel, it’s more accurately characterized as short term apartment rentals. The AC didn’t work properly, just the fan component worked. Also, there’s no actual staff on site, so if you have an issue or question you text them and it took a couple hours to receive a response. We received a 49 CAD credit for booking but quickly learned there’s not really any amenities to use this on… not even food or drink beyond more coffee pods. We ended up using it for a late check out just to spend it. It’s was odd. Loved the location though, right in the heart of old city. The bathroom in the apartment was really big.

The measure of a great experience is how a company responds when something doesn’t go smoothly. I get this is a “hotel” with no front desk, and with Airbnb I’m used to not being “checked in.” The unit was nice: full kitchen, sitting area, all positive. Parking: be prepared. Having a car means walking & paying $50+ per night. Street parking maxes out at a few hours, so unless you’re up every 3 hrs to move it, no good. We parked at AC Hotels up the street (7-8 min walk), fine; we paid $60 cash the first night. Come prepared. The advertised “top floor” isn’t accurate. There are apparently several, meaning you pay extra and still have guests above you. That skyline they boast about is half blocked by the courtyard, not mentioned. When something goes wrong: our fridge was broken. We checked in late, and with food allergies and a 6 hour drive behind us, I’d packed a lot of food into it. Next day, it wasn’t working. To their credit, we had a mini fridge by early afternoon, but there was a lot of email back and forth to sort it out. And all my food spoiled. Then they made me fill out a claim form. Their offer: a coupon for next time, no account for my time or the spoiled food. I declined. They came back with a $50 refund, after nearly $450 a night!?!?, plus another coupon. Not close to satisfied. Too bad, it’s a nice place in a great location, but $50 wasn’t worth the time spent on that form. Overall? Meh. Much better places out there if I had to do it again.

We love to stay At Bresole Hotel! The place was excellent, very clean, everything you need in the place! Staff Jose was a great host! We would love to stay there again next visit to Montreal. Walking to everywhere! We love it!

If you are good with technology this hotel will work for you. There are no onsite employees everything is via email and a “boarding pass”. Very clean and well equipped. Appreciated having laundry in our room. Did not appreciate a room that was so dark due to two windows facing a courtyard that looked more like an opening down the middle of building similar to a garbage chute or elevator shaft. . Nothing pretty to look at and couldn’t see the sky to know if it was a nice day out. We would definitely stay again but would choose a different loft. Otherwise it was excellent!!

It was literally steps away from notre Dame and all the shops and restaurants. Our room was extremely spacious and well-appointed. We will return sooner rather than later! The only thing that would’ve made it perfect was a package of premeasured coffee rather than nespresso pods. All in all excellent value for the experience!

A beautiful, clean, bright & spacious little apartment -- complete with small kitchen & 2 king size beds -- for the price of a hotel room, right in Old Montreal. Excellent value and we liked the self-service feature of the hotel. Was perfect for our family of 4 and we would stay again! Our only minor disappointment was the common rooftop space, in terms of its 'open' hours of operation (we wanted to sit up there for sunrise but the doors are locked overnight until 9am). Additionally, one of the photos for the property features a number of people gathering in a social setting, complete with food and drink (and additional furniture!), clearly an AI rendering of the space. The reality is that there are simply 4 couches and nothing more and the rules stipulate that no food or drink is allowed on the balcony! I would suggest that photo is false advertising and should be removed from the listing.

This facility is a dream! Once we understood the check in process, the concept was simple and very safe. The aparthotel had everything we needed- including privacy, a dishwasher and washer+dryer. The furnishings were comfortable, clean, and convenient. The room was soundproof. The management was so very helpful. The location is perfect. It’s right downtown in Old Montreal. A convenient parking garage was right around the corner that housed our oversized vehicle. We used the Hop on Hop off bus to get around town. The Basilica of Notre Dame is at the end of the road. As seniors who are non French speakers, the city is very user friendly. Restaurants and Shopping are right out the door. I can’t make enough positive comments regarding this Hotel!

The front key pad wasn’t working. We couldn’t find the app. I nice Australian lad showed up to use our boarding pass in the browser to refresh the unlock buttons. I would add a note in The instructions to use download the app. Keypad not reliable.

Overall, very pleased! Fantastic area..close to everything, and the room was clean and spacious. If you're expecting a hotel experience though, this might not be the place for you. Getting in was a bit challenging..needed help from the kind gentleman in the office. The instructions are straight forward once you've done it, but this being our first experience with codes to get in and out, and figuring out the parking situation would have been a bit stressful had we not had help. A little disappointed in the fact that there was a coffee maker, a filter but no coffee for the filter. Luckily, they had instant packs..lol...least I had something! They do have tea, sugar, Nespresso pods and other items, which were definitely stocked and appreciated. Tried to check out the terrace, but we couldn't get on it. To be fair, it just rained earlier, so was wet...maybe for safety we couldn't get out there. No idea where the spa was..not that we were gonna use it, but it wasn't obvious where to find it. I'd definitely return for sure though..the location alone is worth it. Now that we now how it all works, we'd be fine for future.
