Immaculate, very accommodating, great location

We were alone in the place the whole MLK weekend and were necer up early enough for breakfast, but the place was super clean and a very good space for the price. We're definitely coming back. Also a great location for not having a car. Walking to restaurants or bars is quick and easy, or to the subway if you're going further. A final note--we had a late flight on our last day (7pm) and Jean Phillipe let us stay right up until 4pm to leave for the flight, when the published check out time is 11am.

Outstanding breakfast, and lovely room. Our only difficulty was the parking situation. We did find free on-street parking close by, but due to street cleaning, had to move our car several times. The system is somewhat confusing, and had to learn how it worked from locals on the street.

Tout est fait pour ne pas rencontrer les clients, cles de chambre dans de petits boitiers, pas de contact avec le responsable de l'hotel . Petit dejeuner tres moyen et minimaliste. . Malgre une situation et une chambre agreable, cet etablissement est tres decevant a cause du manque de service.

The rooms were very clean. Check-in was very flexible which was a huge plus. The breakfast provided in the morning was a great touch too!

Prima ontbijt, locatie vlakbij de metro en met veel restaurants in de omgeving. Het huis is erg oud en daardoor ook zeer gehorig. Het ligt in een rustige omgeving, maar je hoort alles, vooral in de ochtend.

Beautiful bed and breakfast. Small room though and wifi was slow as was in the corner room. Beautiful breakfast served and made fresh every morning. Great tips and advice in Montreal. Easy walk to subways and peaceful street

A lovely -- and quirky -- find in a great location

It's really a great place. We stayed in spacious room 3, and you have to be OK with a bathtub (shower attachment only for use in the tub; no curtain) and sink in the bedroom, WC on the corridor between living room and bedroom. We managed with that, being a longtime couple. Other rooms have different configurations. It also helps if you are sociable at breakfast; we are, as were two other couples staying there, and that added a lot to our stay. (Incidentally, we are a gay couple and the other two couples we befriended at breakfast were straight; all of us from different geographical areas etc., and we mixed very easily. The atmosphere of the B&B facilitates that.) Parking on the street proved surprisingly easy, aided by the fact we read French and are already used to big-city parking rules. The location is terrific. We were a two-block walk from Ste.-Catherine in the Gay Village and its lively nightlife, yet sitting on the outdoor deck next to our bedroom, the immediate neighborhood was peaceful and calm. The house itself is lovely and quirky. We definitely would return to this place!

This Brit will be back

Amazing hidden gem! Clean, quiet, beautiful heritage building artfully maintained. Relaxing spaces, superb bed( room #1) large bathroom and excellent wifi. The breakfast is crafted by a local chef- yes, a chef from France- who calls Montreal home now. Delicious and nourishing - who knew eating healthy would taste so good! Hot coffee available along with tea all day and into the evening. Ask Shawna where to grab a reasonably priced dinner in the Old Port, you will not be disappointed! Park your car near this wonderful B&B and take the metro or Uber to where you want to go. Diamond Taxi has an app and sometimes they were there before we even got to the front door ... Walk and explore the ‘hood. This Brit will be back! Thanks for an amazingly restful holiday . Kind Regards. B & D
