The room itself and the staff are fabulous. Getting into the building is another thing. Who wants to stand outside flagging around with their phone and trying to scan QR codes and fill in more forms? I will stay again but email for the access code in advance. If not for this, I would have awarded five stars.

I had a great time at Maison Soleil. Vincent and the team are very welcoming and you can see how much effort they have put into the hotel. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. Although it’s located in a very central location it’s quite peaceful and sirene. The Nuxe shower gel/shampoo is a nice touch. I’m already looking forward to returning!

Cute hotel, nice rooms. No reception or onsite staff, checkin/checkout is electronic. No elevator to reach upper floors. Some rooms don’t have chairs. Top floor rooms have lovely outdoor patio. Would stay again

This was my second time staying at Maison Soleil. I managed to navigate the stressful 'check in' system - which involves standing in the street and scanning a QR code and then filling in a form - by emailing to ask for the access code in advance which they were happy to oblige. I hope this is a useful tip for others less interested in using their phones in this way. During this second stay, I saw & killed an insect (black, oblong-shaped) crawling in the bed in the night. I managed to take a video of it before I killed it. Unfortunately, I then woke with a series of painful bites along my leg. I sent the video and the photos of the bites to the hotel. After a series of emails back and forth, they said they had closed and then investigated the room for bugs but found no infestation and therefore took no responsibility. They issued a refund for the night I was there as a gesture of goodwill. Ultimately, I feel frustrated and upset by the situation and do not believe the one night's refund went far enough given that: I did not have bites after my bath and when I went to bed that night. Emailing back and forth with the hotel was not how I planned to spend the last days of my holiday. The entire experience has been upsetting and stressful. And as it is, the bites still haven't cleared even though this is now six days later. I liked Maison Soleil enough the first time I visited to book this second stay but after my experiences, I won't be staying again.

A minha estadia no Maison Soleil foi muito boa. O hotel está bem localizado, bem próximo a estação Montpellier Sant Roch. O acesso ao centro histórico é bem fácil. As instalações são muito boas. Fiquei no quarto Agatha, que tem um terraço grande e agradável. Quarto com minibar, Nespresso e chaleira elétrica. Banheiro ótimo, com uma ducha excelente. Uma ótima opção em Montpellier, recomendo sem nenhuma dúvida.

Un sans faute

Très bel hôtel. Dès le passage de l’entrée de l’établissement vous serez charmés par le travail de décoration au sein de la Maison Soleil, qui porte très bien son nom. Le travail des matières est magnifique et l’équipement des chambres est top, j’ai d’ailleurs été très agréablement surpris par le son qualitatif de la télévision, l’accès à une télévision connectée est un vrai plus également. Ayant séjourné dans une chambre équipée d’une baignoire spacieuse et une literie confortable mon séjour fut très agréable. Le personnel de l’établissement a été attentionné et disponible, le check in/out était très simple. Un sans faute pour ce nouvel établissement très prometteur.

Attention au chambre mansardée !!! pour personne de petite taille et encore.... La chambre "Marcel" n'avait pas de meuble pour ranger et suspendre les habits. Pas de table pour pouvoir poser son ordinateur et travailler. Pas de port-serviette. Machine à café défectueuse, pas de verre pour poser ma brosse à dent et mon dentifrice. Il y a un frigo, où tout est posé dessus (bouilloire électrique, machine à café) et surtout à côté d'une prise multiple. Eau et électricité ne font pas bon ménage.
