First of all, Montmorillon is a charming little gem in the southeastern part of Vienne, and is perfect for an overnight excursion or as a stopping point when traveling across France … and La Bicyclette Bleue is the perfect place to stay. It is located just minutes on foot from the center of Montmorillon and everything you want to see and do is easily accessible. The owners are also just lovely people, who know how to make you feel welcome and give you your space...

「The chateau is set in a beautiful location and our room overlooking the lake was superb and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and our hosts Dave and Adam made us very welcome, more like house guests!! We arrived rather late but they even escorted us to a local bistro so that we could find some dinner as the peaceful chateau location is set in deep countryside and nothing local was open at this late hour - they went above and beyond to assist us! A charming and memorable experience! 」
