The property grounds are incredible, offering an abundance of options for guests to explore and have access to. All staff encountered were kind and helpful. It was also a complete benefit that the Cloud Forest shuttle is literally right across the road! We would definitely stay here again!

The most excellent and friendly staff one could ask for. The common areas were always well kept and in good condition. The room was very clean and cozy. A perfect stay if traveling in Monteverde.

Super Lage direkt am Eingang des Cloudforest, Parkplätze stehen auch direkt an der Unterkunft zu Verfügung. Mietwagen ist von Vorteil da die Lage doch etwas abgelegen ist. Die beiden Whirlpools sind das Highlight! Die Küche ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt

Frustrated with our experience. I thought he had booked us a room with a private bathroom, but we were told at check in that it would be shared. We asked if they could switch us and the gentleman at the Front Desk said they were full but walking around the property that evening and the next morning we saw very a few cars in the parking lot. Plenty of rooms with windows, open undisturbed that we could’ve been moved too. It was not convenient for me to walk down a dark unit outdoor hallway to find a bathroom at night or in the early morning hours. I did not feel safe. There was no reason why they couldn’t have moved us to one of the mini available rooms. Also, the passcode for the doorlock was our room number. Not very safe either.

Location was quiet as it was at the end of the road by the reserve, we stayed from a Wednesday to Saturday, staff were nice, our room was a little cramped for 4. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed.

Nice room, Wifi worked well and the staff at the reception desk were very helpful. These rooms do not have A/C or fans, something not mentioned in the listing. I was not uncomfortable, just something to take into consideration. If you plan to go to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Preserve, this hotel location is ideal. It is directly across the street from the Visitor center. The hotel property is beautiful.

Gorgeous property, beautiful location. Very conveniently located right across the street from the Monte Verde Cloud Forest Reserve. The only problem we had was finding the location, it seems the management or name of the hotel had changed, but thankfully we stopped by a local hotel and they helped us find our way.

Great location to visit Monteverde. Bad location for going out to eat. Pictures obviously from long ago. The floors in the room was so loud and creaky, and so was the neighbors. I wouldn't spend more than one night here.

We stayed there nights here. The property is beautiful. There is no restaurant anymore which made getting breakfast a challenge when we had early morning adventures planned. Unfortunately we have a room where two rooms were directly above us and you could hear every step. To make matters worse, we got bed bugs. Have never had them before but we all woke up with bites on the last day we were there. So gross. You can do better than staying here.
