Beautiful tranquil stay at a working winery!

A beautiful place to stay. This is not a hotel, but an apartment at a working winery and restaurant. The owners are friendly and attentive. Quite frankly, one of the most beautiful views you will ever have - of the winery and lemon groves. The proximity to the town is excellent. The only negative, and only if you are not in shape, is that it is a steep walk straight up to the hotel (100 meters?).

Nice Farm Stay

Husband and wife hosts are very hospitable. Walk up from town is truly a challenge for those not in the best of health. Our cottage was nice but is not spotless or without needing some condition attention.

The decoration is poor. the rooms are cold even with air condition. The worse point is to get in and out of the property . There is a very steep path going from the property to the center of the village and you have to be extremely fit to be able to get back to your room without stopping for few minutes. Also if you get to the hotel by car you simply cannot find it and end up calling them to find out that they will pick you up with a special small mini van .....Th only positive is the small restaurant that they own in the center of the village where food is really good...

A fabulous way to stay and experience a working vineyard in Cinque Terre. The staff was wonderful, the wines are great as is breakfast on the terrace looking at the hills. Only slight negatives: brief but very steep stone pathway to access the property from Monterosso, though we managed. And olives dropping from trees onto the metal roof of our unit made quite a din; a unique problem to have.
