A good one night’s stay

We were pleased with our stay here for 1 night. The room had ample space with great air conditioning. Unfortunately, no fridge, kettle, tea or coffee facilities which would have been useful. Room was clean and we were pleased with our stay here. Location is good with lots of restaurants nearby. Free parking outside the front was very useful and there is paid (underground) car parking available also.

Like an expensive Ibis

A nice hotel with an "Ibis" vibe. You don't get quite your money's worth since it's rather expensive considering the budget feeling, but good enough for a night passing through. The a/c isn't very good, so prepare for a warm night if you, like us, visit during summer... They want €30 for charging your car, independent if you charge 10 or 100%. The garage where the chargers are located has a max height of about 1,70, and it's rather tricky to enter/ leave the garage with a larger car. With our Tesla (model Y) we had centimeters to spare only... The breakfast is €12/ person, but just across the street at Le Panthère Noir you can get coffee, croissant and an orange juice for 3 persons for €14,40... Apparently Montpelier is famous for its nougat, and right behind the hotel there's a nougat factory. They open at 8 during weekdays if you care for a visit.

Hôtel plein centre

Hôtel ancien rénové et fonctionnel. Situé en plein centre, wifi ok, personnel idem. PDJ pas terrible : viennoiseries immangeables, le reste est du PDJ est moyen, donc mieux vaut le prendre ailleurs ! La chambre est propre, literie ok. Dommage pas de mini bar, ni de bouteille d’eau offerte. Ici, tout est à l’économie : économiseur d’eau douche et robinet, chauffage plafonné à 23 (c’est suffisant mais quand il fait froid le mettre plus fort permet de monter la chambre plus vite en température), zéro produits de courtoisie. Donc à vous de voir. Pour court séjour ok.
