Ok for short stay

The hotel is more like a 3 star property. The reception staff were amazing. The room was ok. Air conditioning didn’t work particularly well. Shower fairly small. Breakfast ok, but probably our least favorite so far in Sicily. Lots of parking. Had a good dinner in hotel dining room.

Bren and Tom in Monreale

Staff friendly and helpful; room of good standard. Views of Palermo outstanding especially from dining room. One negative was the extremely limited menu, if you didn't like veal or shark fish you were stretched!

Un hotel de cuatro estrellas que no se las merece

Llegamos al hotel con una reserva de tres noches con desayuno incluido pero no fue así ya que la confirmación de hotels.com no se correspondía con la del hotel. La habitación es espaciosa, silenciosa y luminosa pero no se corresponde a un hotel de cuatro estrellas. Para mantener la habitación caliente debes mantener el aire acondicionado encendido toda la noche y es ruidoso. La limpieza diaria de la habitación es deficiente, hacen mal las camas, sin estirar las sábanas, con mantas ridiculamente cortas, sin cambiarte las sábanas aunque se necesite... el secador estaba estropeado y tuve que pedir otro. El aparcamiento del hotel está cruzando una carretera en plena curva con un semáforo que no funciona, peligrosísimo para cruzar cada vez que aparcas el coche. Lo único destacable es la recepcionista que habla español que es especialmente amable, ofrece buenas recomendaciones y se esfuerza en el bienestar de los clientes.

Gutes Hotel in nicht so guter Lage

Das Hotel war in Ordnung, die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Die Lage jedoch ist nicht so toll. An der Hauptstraße von Palermo in die Berge gelegen, ist das Zentrum von Monreale nach ca. 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Weg dahin ist jedoch nicht sonderlich angenehm, insbesondere am Abend bzw. im Dunkeln.

Lovely Hotel with Amazing Views!

Warm welcome and lovely room, clean and comfortable. Received extra pillows when requested. Hotel receptionist ordered taxi for us to visit Cathedral. Nice restaurant on roof level with amazing views over Palermo. Food was good but not 5 star even though the price was. Beautiful breakfast buffet but be careful that your booking company includes it in the price. We had to pay 8 euros each for ours.

Poor service - Mediocre Hotel- 2 star experience

Front desk person was unpleasant. Room was okay. We asked if we could have a room that overlooked the ocean and the temples. We were told that we had booked on Expedia so we couldn't, even though we booked on hotels.com, and it would be 50 euro per person to have a view. Breakfast was mediocre. Bed was beyond firm. I think the listing says it has a temperpedic or air number bed.... More like the firmest cheapest bed imaginable. Had not been updated in a long time. Key for safe, I would guess they have another key. The door was hollow and used an actual key which was our first key in 10 days in southern Italy and Sicily. Below average on all accounts for a 4 star hotel. I should be about a 2 star.

Prisvärt hotell med vacker utsikt

Trevligt, mysigt hotell med fantastisk utsikt och mycket hjälpsam personal. Frukosten var kanske inte den bästa men å andra sidan var den inte sämre italienska frukostar i allmänhet!

Fint hotell med fin beliggenhet oppe i høyden over Palermo. Koselig betjening. Skal du leie bil og kjøre rundt på øya er hotellet et godt utgangspunkt. Du slipper unna den kaotiske trafikken du må takle dersom du bor nede i byen.

A l'écart de la folie palermitaine

Choisi à bon escient pour s'écarter de la folie de Palerme tout en pouvant rejoindre la grande ville par bus régulier et direct; Un peu loin à pied du centre historique de Monreale mais faisable (un quart d'heure de montée à l'aller et dix minute de descente au retour). Pas vraiment de charme mais hotel confortable, propre et accueil très attentif. Parfait pour nous qui le quittions de bon matin pour revenir seulement le soir.

Bezoek aan Monreale prima te doen vanuit hotel

Het hotel heft een geode locatie om naar Monreale centrum te gaan. wel per auto of een stevige wandeling omhoog. Verder een mooi uitzicht over Palermo vanuit de ontbijtzaal.
