"The best thing here was the ocean view from the rooms balcony. However, it goes downhill from there. We stayed March 3-5,2026 which is considered “off-season” but when you only see a property attendant to check you in and they leave the property and not return - would that be a safety concern! Yes, that is correct there was no staff on site at any time during stay or departure. The hotel front doors were left open to the weather all day and night. The only amenities provided one bath towel, one hand towel, one bottle of shower gel per person. No tissues, no cups/glasses, no coffee or tea in the rooms or anywhere else to be found on the property. Someone, maybe another guest eat dinner in the lobby from what appeared to be “take-out” food both nights and items were not cleaned away. No breakfast provided, not even some fresh fruit. Oh, did I mention no coffee/tea. The owners never told us no one would remain onsite, nor did they provide a number for us to contact if we needed anything. Sad!!!"

"[Visited out of season, so can't comment on the restaurant and pool (both closed for winter)] The hotel room was good (albeit a bit dated it was clean, spacious, nice big bed), had good amenities (but no coffee/tea in the kitchenette) and the view from the private balcony was very nice - overall a good stay"

"Modern rooms and good location near the town. The family room is on the 2nd floor which isn't ideal if you have a pram. Also, we found the mattress to be uncomfortable. A better quality mattress and a lift would make this place 10/10"

"Breakfast was pretty good pool was freezing but it was October staff was fantastic room was clean bed great bathroom a little tight. All in all loved the place would recommend to anyone 8.5 out of 10"

"The property is beautiful, as is the view, pool and access to the gulf for swimming. Food quality was good and the service at the restaurant and bar was very nice and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff was less attentive. The biggest problems were the size of the room (small) with NO storage. No drawers or hanging space and no where to store luggage. Also, they put us in a room that we had to walk through 2 inches of water on the marble walkway to get to our room on the first 2 days. This was unacceptable and there was no effort to clear the water or change our room. Also, we came back one evening after dinner and the front gate would not open, despite someone being in the front office, so we had to walk. The other problem was that they had a poor selection of wine, including no chardonnay style wine, as we were told the season was ending and stock not being replaced. Bar Staff did their best to obtain substitutes and basically lift things from the restaurant, which we appreciate, but should not have been necessary. There was definitely a sense that guests late in the season are less important. This is no reflection on the staff, especially Emma in the beach bar, and the breakfast servers. A beautiful property, but no where near 5 star service or amenities. "
