What a treasure! This 16th century building is the perfect combination of antiquity and modern architectural elements, full of character and just gorgeous! If I were an influencer, I could see myself spending all day photographing in the inn. Our room has a view of the valley’s vineyards. Location is convenient, easy drive off the main road, with plenty of parking at the lot up the street. Call Giulio 15 minutes before your arrival so he can open the gate for you to drop off your luggage at the hotel before parking your car. The check-in desk is at the bar. We had dinner at the Inn’s artfully decorated restaurant. Had our private corner. Food was delicious. We wanted to eat there the following night but it is closed on Wednesdays. Everyone at the inn was welcoming and helpful. We had a mad scramble because flight was cancelled. This caused hurried departure to a different flight and delayed arrival. They accommodated our late arrival for dinner and lent us phone charger plugs. Giulio was generous with his time and recommendation of Alba and wineries. His wine cellar is famous. What I would do the next time we stay here is to pack toothbrush, paste, hair conditioner, lotion, comb, robes and slippers because they don’t provide those. But I got by with provided shampoo/body wash and soap, and already had dental products in my suitcase.

Fantastic stay at Le Case della Saracca!

We really enjoyed our three-day stay at magical La Saracca. Giulio was an excellent host and gave us very good help and advice about what to see and do, and where to eat. We did also have a wonderful three course meal at his restaurant. I can absolutely recommend both hotel and restaurant.

Fantastisk og helt unikt sted!

Dette er det mest sjarmerende og originale stedet vi har besøkt. Bygningen er restaurert på en utsøkt måte med herlig blanding av gammelt og nytt. Her manglet vi ingenting, bortsett fra retningssans på vei gjennom de grottelignende gangene/trappene på vei til rommet vårt i øverste etasje. Vi ble oppgradert uten ekstra kostnad pga oppussing av rommet vi hadde booket, heldig for oss. Frokosten er enkel, men velsmakende. Middagen og vinanbefalingen var innertier, og restauranten et kapittel for seg selv med 8-10 ulike nivåer der de øverste bare har ett eller to bord. Vertene, en skjønn familie, gjør alt de kan for at oppholdet skal være perfekt. Vi kommer mer enn gjerne tilbake!

En helt unik vin- og hotell opplevelse

En helt unik og fantastisk opplevelse! Hotellet er unikt på den måten at alt er forseggjort og alle som jobber der yter utrolig bra service. For den som er glad i vin er dette stedet og bo. Verten kan gi gode anbefalinger på reiseruter, vingårder, vinsmakinger og generelt alt du måtte lure på. Maten i restauranten og vinkjelleren er også fantastisk. Jeg skal definitivt tilbake hit neste gang jeg besøker Piemonte.

Siamo stati una notte a "Le case della Saracca" durante un weekend itinerante delle Langhe. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, struttura particolare e caratteristica, borgo delizioso e personale veramente cortese e disponibile: hanno rispettato i nostri tempi, si sono impegnati molto per accogliere i nostri bisogni e ci hanno dato tantissimi consigli per il nostro viaggio "on the road". La posizione è ottima e facile da raggiungere, le camere e l'edificio meravigliosi. Consigliatissimo. Grazie ancora di tutto!
