This was a pleasant surprise and a delightful stay. A little hard to get to driving, but absolutely easy from the train station. They have a private elevator from one level to another of the town. The staff was wonderful, and dinner was excellent and breakfast was made to order. There were multiple dining areas, so even if you were there more than one night you felt like you had options with her without a view, depending on the weather.

We had a pleasant 3-night stay overall. We particularly enjoyed the pool, the peaceful surroundings, and the generally good-quality food. The complimentary tea served daily from 5–6 pm was also a nice touch. However, for a listed 4-star property, we found the experience somewhat underwhelming. Our room was clean but quite small. One day we found lots of ants coming in through the main room door. There were also a few issues with the food. One evening we found a piece of plastic in our pasta. We received an apology, but were still charged for the dish, which was disappointing. We also noticed flies around the breakfast area and occasionally on the food. While the natural surroundings make insects understandable, we would expect greater care around food hygiene. Finally, our request for just a 30-minute late checkout was declined, which felt a little inflexible.

You mislead us by saying this hotel was near Portofino. It was not. It required me to hire a private taxi driver to drive us there May 9. The cost was 520 USD. This hotel happens to be beautiful and well worth the stay. Your site falsely advertised the location You really need to tell the truth. The hotel deserves better treatment. It does not need your misinformation to get people to stay.

This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The hotel is quiet and private but near the local town with good restaurants and a sheltered beach. The train station is just below with easy access to all the towns of the Cinque Terre. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, the hotel was also super clean and relaxing. The pool area is very beautiful with shady areas for relaxing. We ate twice in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent, the best we had in Liguria. All in all a really wonderful place!

A must for the discerning traveller. The staff at Villa Edera went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The bedroom very comfortable and the pool area extremely welcome. Very convenient for the train station for links to Cinque terre, Portofino etc. Highly recommended.

A Wonderful Hotel

This is a wonderful hotel with a Michelin rated restaurant and other fine amenities. Our room was comfortable and had a nice balcony overlooking the adjacent hills and countryside. It's also conveniently located to the train station and is only a ten minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property is beautiful and our room was very large with many amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very convenient to get to the beach and to travel by train to the various Cinque Terre cities. The surrounding area is beautiful and you must try the Michelin star restaurant experience. Absolutely top quality and service and we highly recommend Hotel Villa Edera to anytime visiting the area. Enjoy!
