"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "The room was warm and clean. We have stayed there before on the way to Calais. It is very well situated, just 5 minutes walk to the centre and only 10 minutes from the motorway. The room was large with some cooking facilities, coffee machine, kettle etc. Bathroom was clean, great bath and shower."
