While our stay started a bit rough, as the first place we were given had serious plumbing issues and needed a closer cleaning, the next day the staff made sure we were moved to a great unit that served us well. The pool is amazing to enjoy a swim at sunset, It’s also great you can get breakfast and dinner plans for your stay, as you really can’t walk to anything else; however, there are a few other restaurant options on site too for lunch or your dinner meals.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel English Point Marina & Spa. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere and all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room provided a quiet and peaceful environment to rest after a long day. The staff were exceptional, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable. They were helpful with any requests and made me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation with excellent service. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We didn’t like the cleanliness of the shower. The bathroom sink had a clogged drain. There were missing flushing operating parts on the toilet. The lounge furniture was dirty. The air conditioning had a bad order which triggered my allergies. Continuously triggering a cough. I had to sleep with the windows open and portable fan blowing for an entire night in order to keep from coughing. I had requested to change to a cleaner room without all of these issues. What they gave was a smaller room with no sofa but still a badly stained shower.

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was spacious. Food was terrible and overpriced. Tried four of the restaurants and none of the food was good. Plenty of restaurants off site that were better and cheaper. Food is catered to Muslims (halal)

Clean, good facilities, helpful staff, good vibes. If you want typical beach activities close by, this is not the hotel for you. If you want an excellent base to explore Mombasa from, then this is the one.
