nice place to spend the night

For those seeking a moderate priced motel that is clean and comfortable in this area, Golden Hills is an excellent choice. A short distance out of town and not much to look at exteriorly but the rooms are large, comfortable, clean and well taken care of. I can highly rate Golden Hills for overnight acommodations.

Dated but ok.

Ik the place is dated butit was pretty clean and i asked about morning coffee. They called me when it was ready. The bed qas comfortable the sheets were old but clean. The shower was okay plenty of pressure and plenty of hot water. Not a bad stay for the price. I will stay again if i have to be in the area .

I loved this for a quick stop while traveling. Was happily surpriseed when there was trails that I could walk my dogs on! Nice quiet place to lay your head!

Awful service. Not friendly at all. Room smelled like animal pee. I ended up not even staying due to roaches. I just left the key on dresser and left to stay the night in my car with no bugs. I didn’t even wanna stop at the Front Desk to complain because the guy was so rude in the beginning.

This is a basic service motel. It was clean. The bed was fine. We were passing through and it met our needs. The price was right.

My sister and I were beginning a section hike of the Pacific Crest Trail and needed rooms for the night. The price was right for what we needed. Not fancy, but a hot shower and a good nights sleep.

No Frills Motel That Gets The Job Done

I've stayed here multiple times and have had a good stay. The front desk staff are pleasant to deal with. The rooms have a weird smell to them, but they are clean overall. I wish the showers were a bit bigger and the televisions were newer instead of old school CRT, but other than that it's not a bad place to stay. More pillows would be nice as well. It's priced pretty well, however I think it should be about 10 dollars cheaper. It's in a safe location. I would stay here again.

Better than park bench, or was it ?

Better than sleeping in my car, but not worth $70 per nite. Peeling toilet seat. Dead baby roach on bathroom floor. Bed short sheeted for no reason. Overlooks very busy road, so noisey. But nowhere else to waitout auto repair, so trapped for 3 nites. Pluses..it had heat & air & running water !

The motel is on the western edge of town and quite peaceful. The motel is an older property, the towels were clean, but thin. The bed was very firm.

I was locked in my room overnight due to a malfunctioning deadbolt lock. The upside, I was safe, good bed though. In the off chance that YOU do read these responses, let my know who paid the $53.30 charge on the room. My receipt shows the last 4 digits as NOT belonging to any card in my possession.
