The pool was great! The man who checked me in was super nice, and one of the day managers was kind, but there was one front desk guy that seemed to be in the wrong job for his attitude toward the kids.
Unfortunately, the wi-fi is awful, non-existent at peak times, and the cell signal in my room (verizon) was poor even though I was showing three bars. The TV is not a smart TV, so don’t expect to be able to stream shows or to game on your devices.
Breakfast had pretty good variety, but I’d call it average at best. Not many choices for hot dishes, but the biscuit and gravy was ok when they had it. If you just want cereal, yogurt, or fruit, you’ll be fine with the breakfast.
Both mattresses had given up all sense of firmness on the sides closest to the table between them, and the pillows were hard. I did not get a good nights sleep, and I was there 8 nights.
Honestly, if it weren’t for the pool that my young grandkids enjoyed almost every day, I would give it two stars.
I travel to this area several times a year for a week to 10 days and will definitely not be staying here again.
