Absolutely love this location. Staff are on the main great, Building is dated, Main door frame to room was broken and in a poor state. Bathroom was dusty. Bedroom needs updating very dated. Manager often walked the floor at dinner. But only interacting with Croatian

Wonderful staff, beautiful setting, easy to get to ferry and National Park, exquisite views of water, great location to cycle to bunkers west of Pomena or walk or cycle to the NP. Breakfast and dinner was included, which, for the mass people dining, was pretty good! Breakfasts included healthy options like cucumbers, tomato, and oats! Dinners were also great, with a lot of variety and with a lot of vegetable options for those wanting to eat healthy. 5 stars!

It was wonderful at the hotel. The rooms had a/c, it’s right on the beach and near so many places to eat. The staff are very helpful. My only issue would be the lack of elevator for luggage however the staff are more than willing to offer someone to help with the luggage. We carried our own and it was fine. Just something to note.

Outdated but nice

Very old hotel, needs a renovation in the sea view rooms. Bed hard and air conditioning didn’t really cool the room well. Doors confusing on how to open, no kettle for tea, tv outdated. Shower tight but pressure good and it pools water beneath you while showering. Awesome balcony view and property amazing.

The location of the property is fantastic it is situated right beside the ferry port and close to the national park. The national park itself is absolutely stunning highly, highly recommend. The hotel itself is a 3 star which i think is correct, I took the option of the breakfast and dinner buffet which was excellent value and really nice. The staff on site are excellent, big thanks to Petra on reception who was extremely helpful all of the time and super friendly.

This hotel is literally right next to the ferry dock, so it is very conveniently located. Classic old school style hotel with comfortable bed, a nice little veranda with chairs to look out at the sea and an outdoor patio bar on site make this a great choice. The swimming area is very nice as well. The National Park is a short walk from the hotel. My partner and I rented a scooter right across the street and used that to tour the rest of the island. Pomena/Hotel Odisej is the perfect base-point for your stay on Miljet

This hotel needs a lot of tlc. The rooms are very dated and small. No usb ports and only one electric socket. We were on the 3rd floor. (4 floors in all) To get to our room we had to leave the lift on the 2nd and walk up the stairs to the third. The shower cubical is s tiny, with a tap sticking out In the centre. Hotels.com states it has a pool. Be warned this is a child's splash pool 8ft diameter and 18 inches deep.

Rooms in this hotel are very dated. Bathroom so small you can’t even turn in the shower. Cup stains on the counter, water damage on the door frame and air conditioning did not work. For the price we paid at a resort we were disappointed.

Good location, dissappointing hotel

We had high expectations of this hotel in a very beautiful location but were let down by rude reception staff and a faulty smoke alarm that flashed all night. As a result we slept badly and when we woke up to breakfast, that too was dissappointing.

Visit to the island Mljet.

The hotel has a great location but has a little wear and tear in the rooms. Our room had a bad smell and a lot of noice from the sourrounding rooms. After writing the review on this website,we were contacted by the staff emediately with the choise of changing to a different room. Great service! Upon arrival, we were taken good care of and a lot of useful information given.

Exceptional location and great value

The hotel Odisej is positoned at the waterfront for direct access to the sea and boasts commanding views of Pomena bay which is stunning, particularly at sunset. It is also located just seconds from the foot passenger ferry drop off which is extremely convenient and only a short walk from the national park entrance. The national park is essentially 2 salt lakes which are fantastic for swimming in as well as featuring an old monastery on an island. Reception sells the park entrance tickets which were valid for the entirety of our 10 night stay. The swimming area in front of the hotel was very busy and loungers were reserved with towels from early in the morning but there's also a lot of flat rock with overhanging trees for shade a short walk along the bay. The water is clear and good for snorkeling with plenty of juvenile fish and other small life. The rooms aren't huge, the bathroom was especially very compact but they are comfortable and clean. The real wood furniture and fixtures are actually very high quality and stylish. In general the hotel could do with some updating such as room keycard entry which was still physical key. There was a couple of power outages during our stay and the backup power kicked in very quickly. The staff are very friendly and caring and there's a nice atmosphere around the place. Food was good and plentiful and I recommed taking half board as restaurants nearby are not cheap. The hotel pizzeria was our go to for lunch. Lovely place and service.

Traumhafte Lage, in 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Nationalpark bei den wunderschönen Salzseen (hier unbedingt bei der Brücke Velki Most schwimmen gehen!). Man findet beim Frühstück und Abendessen immer einen Platz auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Essensangebot ist gut, aber beim Frühstück leider keine veganen Optionen. Am Pier kann man von der Liege aus das Meer genießen. Im ruhigen, abgetrennten Bereich kann man richtig Bahnen schwimmen. Schnorcheln geht auch ganz gut. Richtig nervig war, dass die Liegen schon vor dem Frühstück von anderen Gästen mit Handtüchern “reserviert” wurden und dann teilweise stundenlang nicht genutzt wurden. Hier sollte die Hotelleitung sich was überlegen. Die Öffnungszeiten des kleinen Fitnessstudios (11-18 Uhr) waren auch wirklich blõd. Ansonsten ist es aber ein nettes Hotel, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und die Natur (und die Zikaden ;-) zu genießen . Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt in der Nähe, wo alles ziemlich teuer ist, aber zum Hotel gehört noch eine Pizzeria, wo man sich mittags leckere, große Pizzen für 10€ (auch zum Mitnehmen) bestellen kann. Das Hotel bietet auch den ein oder anderen Bootsausflug (leider nur 1x pro Woche) an, aber es gibt auch reichlich Anbieter für Ausflüge im Ort. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, könnte man auch seinen Hund mitbringen. Im Restaurant und am Hotel-“Strand” sind sie zwar nicht erlaubt, aber in der tollen Strandbar. Es gibt viele Spaziermöglichkeiten im Wald und am Wasser.
