「First time stay. A little far out but pleasant location. Odd smell permeated the whole apartment. Lots of stray hairs on the floor. Microwave not working. Remote controls all have dead batteries. Sofa was dirty. TV connection extremely bad - "blizzard screen". Beds were comfortable and view out into the sea was fabulous. 」

「The hotel is in a strip mall shopping complex which is convenient if you want/need to buy food/snacks and also to do laundry. The place is about a 25 minute walk from the airport — no sidewalks though. It’s adequate for a night stay since it’s close to the airport but not near any other activities you may want to do in Miri walking wise. The check in/out was good and the wifi works. 「Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort provided one of the highlights of my Sarawak stay. Breakfast and dinner were both included in my price, and both were incredibly tasty. The resort offers and train/boat ride through the property, which is beautiful and loads of fun. The waterpark has a couple of fun slides. 「Clean room - but nothing like the pictures featured on their advertising. A small bolt was the only security to the outside of the building/balcony and looked over a secluded car park, so felt a little vulnerable. Staff were friendly and easy to get a grab to restaurants/ central Miri.」

「Staff super nice and helpful, location is ideal in Miri, bed is comfortable. That said, the hotel shows his age and would need refurbishing urgently, especially the bathrooms. I was assigned a room that I did not like at first, but thankfully they were kind enough to give me a better looking one and it turned out to be quiet and comfortable. 」
