Wonderful family getaway!

Literally right across the street from the most beautiful beach! Beach access a BIG PERK! Our family had a great stay! Clean and lots of room. The pool was wonderful too!

This is my second time staying at Seacove. Both condos we have rented have been clean and well maintained. Seacove is child/family friendly. The property grounds are nice with grills, charging stations for EV and a heated/gated pool. Private beach access across the street. We love Seacove :)

Seacove Condos in Destin, Florida

Everything was great in the condo, but bathtubs could be a little cleaner. When the other guests are polite and they respect quiet time, the pool that is in the center of all units is pleasant and welcoming. Then the hillbillies arrive with half a dozen loud, rude teenagers AND their wheeled boombox, forcing everyone at the pool to listen to THEIR music. Why is this allowed? We were not the only ones annoyed at this. The beach is a one minute walk and totally gorgeous! A sandy bottom, with no shells and very clear water. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place for the price. Great location and quiet. The steps going to the upstairs bed and bath are very dangerous though. Small steps and very steep. Found a few palmetto bugs but that was from the previous guests leaving the deck door open. I would consider staying again.

I booked this rental for my dad and significant other and they were very pleased with the cleanliness and the communication that was received before the trip. Also, the front desk was fast at responding when he couldn’t figure out the keypad. They came and was very nice and helpful. He has already asked me to book this same exact place again.

Check in was at 3PM but we were not able to go inside until like 3:20PM because they were fixing the toilet. When I asked they said check-in was at 4PM. Online said otherwise. The water pressure wasn’t so good and the bathroom still did not work through out the stay.

There was no instruction given on how to open the gate when turning into the property. I had to call the on call service number. There was no indication that this was a second floor apartment and I had my 83 yr old mom with me and after multiple calls to the after hour service, someone finally retuned my call the following day. The AC went out and for a night and a day it was 83 degrees in the condo, however someone did come and fix it

PRICE HIKE!!!! STANDARDS DROPPED!!!!😒

This property looks wayyy better in the photos than in real life. VERY VERY DATED!!! Cracks and molded spots around the shower/bath downstairs as well as upstairs shower. The tv was sideways thrown up on the wall. Looks like they have a decent couch and the beds slept fine but everything about this place when it comes to updates need to be taken care of immediately. The master bedroom closet door was rusted off track so nobody wanted to even touch it in fear that it would crash. The bedroom also came with a portable fan that needed to be sprayed down with a water hose because of caked up dust on the blades. I spent almost $900 bucks for 2 nights and this condo was not up to quality for the price. If this is what vacations have come to ill wait a few years

Half the lights are out above the kitchen island and in the master bathroom. There is dangerous black mold growing under the upstairs bathroom sink, the coffee maker had the wrong sized coffee pot so it was unusable and made a huge mess in the kitchen, the master bedroom fan is only controlled by a remote that had dead batteries so you couldn’t run the fan without having the light on and the fun was on full speed, the bedroom was hot at night because we couldn’t run the fan and the a/c was circulating moldy air from the upstairs bathroom. We got locked out on our last day after confirming with Dwight twice that we had late check out. He failed to send the code we would need to use after the normal check out time and we had to call multiple times to get ahold of the office since no one was there even though it was office hours on a weekday. During our stay we only saw Dwight once, as he was leaving or returning sea cove. The office was closed for the rest of our time there and we needed to access the unit for medication that needed to be taken at a scheduled time when we were locked out. The response from Dwight once we got him on the phone was to cut me off from speaking, tell me to calm down and then he fabricated a story about how he was dealing with a guest medical emergency when I told him I didn’t appreciate his response to me. Finally, the cleaners entered our unit while we were in it as they were unaware of our late checkout thanks to Dwight failing again.

Upon arriving I was unable to open the gate. After several attempts I called the office. Despite being Monday around 3pm, I got an answering service. They said they would call the management. I waited then realized I had put the code in wrong. I put it in correctly and accessed the property. The manager didn't call for an hour. He said the answering service didn't contact him. If that's the case, why did he call me? Hmm???? The condo and property are great. Great pool and grassy area for kids to play. Great access to the beach. Next problem. My wife noticed the freezer door would not close. We tried several things. Nothing worked. I called the office again, several times, each time saying they would contact the management. He didn't contact me until the next morning, once again blaming the answering service. He then said he was exhausted from Spring Break, he was a one man operation, and that Sunday and Monday were his days off. Apparently there is no backup for service issues on his days off. He did fix the freezer and refridge but we lost all our food we had purchased since the appliance didn't work. I asked about reimbursement for the food and he said he would contact the property owner. After hearing nothing for 2 days, I both texted and emailed Seacove. It's been several days with no response so I guess I am out of luck. Bottom line - the property is great but there is some serious management issues. Seriously doubt I would return to that property.

Spring Break

We didn't get to check in until an hour after the advertised check-in time due to the number of units that needed to be cleaned. The alarm on the stove went off at 3:00 am the first night. It continued to go off throughout the stay, so we had to unplug it. The loft ceiling fan didn't work. There was a strong odor in the condo that never went away. The pipe under the kitchen sink fell off during our stay, but was fixed the same day we called about it. The pool was nice and it had easy access to the beach.
