River Severn at Minsterworth. Looking upstream from the Gloucestershire Way, here following footpath EMW7/1 and having to negotiate a succession of gates through fences along the levee. Technically the path diverts down to the left around here, aiming for 118827, but the last gate onto the lane by the church was impassable when I tried to follow the correct route.

Room was extremely simple and quite small. I think I was expecting more from online images and exterior of building. Staff were friendly enough, and sorted out an issue with our room efficiently. The bar area was nice and staff were courteous.
