Alicia, as the name suggests, maintains a wonderful orchid garen with hundreds growing in pots nice arranged on shelves beneath a large canopy of jungle trees and wild plant growth. Birdsong all day long with good bird watching from your chair on the deck of your cabaña. Nice breakfast. Alicia is very helpful and ever smiling.

This is a unique hotel. Think more like a rental cabin in a usa national park. This is not a cookie cutter us holiday inn room. These are little home built cabins in a gorgeous tropical orchid garden. The beds are clean and comfortable, the shower water is hot and the electric outlets work fine to charge your devices. Wireless is great. Tatiana greeted us warmly and gave us our choice of 3 rooms since it was important to us to have a private bathroom and privacy. We woke to the sounds of birds outside our house. The breakfast is made to order. The hotel is easy walking to the center of Mindo and all its shops and restaurants. This hotel is not handicap accessible as there are stone paths to walk. We loved staying here and would stay here again. Mindo has tried to make itself extremely safe and friendly for tourists. It does help to be able to speak some Spanish.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience in Ecuador, and made a wise choice to spend the most time in Mindo, especially at Cabanas Armonia. A week seemed just right there, as there is so much to see and do. Tatiana was super helpful with recommendations. Breakfast was excellent except for very weak coffee.

This is a superb, super friendly family owned and operated paradise carefully carved out of and beautifully integrated directly into the rain forest with beautiful and clever details by Tatiana’s father, who built the cabins by hand. Cabañas Armonía was very clean. A good location near the center and within walking distance of most things in town. Breakfast was fresh and nice to be visited by hummingbirds every morning.

Basic but comfortable

Clean comfortable cabins with a full daily breakfast. Surrounded by forest. Warm shower but slippery wet tile floors - so be careful! There is never anyone in the office, so you have to go find them (or call them) for service. No cleaning during stay, but staff are friendly and willing to help if you need something. Convenient location to move around the town.

Pleasant place to stay in a beautiful setting.

The cabins are rustic, but clean and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, lots of birds and Orchids. It's an easy walk into local restaurants and businesses. The staff, especially Tatiana, were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is okay, but pretty basic.

Staff was great, they were always willing to help find a taxi, offer advice on day trips or point out interesting orchids we might have missed. The orchids and hummingbirds on the hotels grounds were phenomenal. Also hotel is an easy walk to el centroids and the bus terminal
