"I stayed here while attending an event at the Prague Expo and booked because the hotel is new, reasonably priced, and within walking distance of the venue. The location for the expo is genuinely convenient, the staff were polite, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel also looks modern, although there were already visible marks/signs of wear on some walls and finishes. Unfortunately, I decided to check out early because I simply could not sleep properly here. The main issue was that the hotel does not have air conditioning (nor a fridge in the room) and the curtains/blinds are extremely ineffective. During my stay temperatures were around 29°C, and the room became very bright very early in the morning (around 5am). Even with the windows open overnight, the combination of heat and full daylight made it impossible for me to get proper rest. I asked reception whether there might be a fan available, but none were available. They did say they would pass the feedback on to management, which I appreciated. Breakfast was okay, but items that should have been kept cooler, such as butter and charcuterie, were already warm. If I had known these things in advance, I personally would not have booked here. Because the property is so new with limited reviews, I wanted to leave honest feedback so future guests can make a more informed decision."

"Expensive but reasonable value for money. Best thing was that there was a fridge in my room and it worked well. 3 criticisms though. Firstly, there should have been tea/coffee making facilities in my room. Secondly, the TV only had Czech-langauge channels. The BBC World News channel was not available. Thirdly, my room had not been cleaned properly as there were some small bits of litter left there by the previous occupant."

"This hostel was overall nice and historic feeling. The bathroom cleanliness was questionable at times, there were a few individual bathrooms (some with and some without showers) accessible from my dorm, my favorite was one with a window that opened. The showers had good heat and water pressure. The location was not super central to the coolest places in the city, however it was about a block away from a tram stop that led into the city. There were also several places for good food on that block, including a cafe called Vnitroblok which I would highly recommend if you need a cozy place to work on a lap top. The dorm bunks had curtains and a socket and light per bed, there were lockboxes under the beds and also a small lockbox around the plug, but for both you need to bring your own lock. My dorm was a bit musty but the windows opened and let in a good amount of fresh air when needed, and the sheets were clean. Overall far from the worst hostel I've stayed in."
