The hotel was conveniently located, staff was very friendly and helpful. The hallways need improvement, floor is uneven. The room was very clean and everything was tidy and ready for guests. Breakfast was basic but well-kept and plenty to eat. The staff was always around to answer questions and help.

New owners, and they have a lot to do to improve the property. Exterior and entrance poor, parking lot dirt that needs grading, key system for rooms a work in progress. Bathroom and room itself were clean but could also benefit from upgrades. Millinocket is very small, and most restaurants are closed Sunday and Monday.

This is in the Katahdin region and it is easy to get to a lot of outdoor and scenic places. The Inn is worn down but very clean. We did not use the pool or game area but it looked good and others did use it. The coffee and tea machines are ancient but there is a Dunkin’ across the street. We left a little before 6AM but did not see any breakfast prep. We have stayed in the past and will stay again in the future.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The room was clean and the staff was extremely nice. I had left behind my samsung watch and they promptly made me a key to go back into the room to retrieve it. My only complaint is the entryway to the hotel and parking lot is full of potholes.

Pet friendly room. "Continental Breakfast" was VERY limited in selection, but it was free, so i guess you get what you pay for. (Gas station and Dunkin Donuts across the street have much of what you probably want.) We needed a place to sleep on our trip north, and this place met that need.

Second time staying here. Wife and I stay the night before going to Baxter SP. It might not be for everyone but we love it. The lobby is fun, lots to do, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean (seems like they’ve been updated a bit since 2025). We recommend, and will stay there again.

We were scheduled to stay for two nites beginning 9/9/2026. However, upon entering the lobby, we were met with a very strong odor of mold/mildew, which continued down the hallways and into our rooms (2). After immediate chest congestion set in, we decided to find different lodging for our second nite. Secondly, there was a strong smell of sewer gas in the hallway. The rooms were "rough" - doors that didn't close without effort, chipped paint. Contrary to the photos featured on the web, the entire outside of the building closely resembled a penitentiary. The front desk clerk appeared to be the only staff person on site. He tried but had been placed into this very difficult situation, as the Manager was off-site.

As always, the Kahadin Inn was perfect for our needs. It was just a quick stop over for two nights while we visited family on the way further north. Late check-in was a breeze with our keys were in an envelope, waiting on the counter, the AC kept the room at a nice temperature, and the breakfast was perfect for our needs. The make your own pancake machine was a nice twist from the typical waffle maker at hotels. The machine itself did look like it was from Doctor Who, but it works great! The little sitting area by the pool was nice to relax outside of the room. And 24 hour coffee available is always a plus!

Overall I’d give the property a 4.7. As soon as you walk into the lobby, bam, pool tables, electronic games, and what looked like a really nice pool. There is a bar, but it wasn’t open. Washer’s and dryer’s, which like the games and pool tables, cost $$ <—- not a bad thing. Room was spacious and clean. The room I stayed in, one of the windows was cracked. They assured me they were aware of it. Some updating could be done, but overall, it was a nice stay.

Property was kind of run down.. Pool was nice just needs a light. Pool area seemed clean.. Just had a hint of sewerage in the main/common areas. Breakfast was disappointing, only breads, yogurt, milk & cereal. Room seemed clean. Jacuzzi tub felt nice. The staff were very nice and accommodating with letting us check in early with no extra charge. Overall, I can see this place having so much potential.. Just needs some time, love and care.
