Exotic creatures from all parts of the world bring a tropical flair to Miller Park Zoo. Enjoy many opportunities for interaction with the zoo’s stars, which range from flamingos and seals to tigers and wolves. Bring the whole family so your kids can learn about the weird and wonderful animals they don’t generally see in their daily lives.

Find out about the feeding times to have some fun with the harbor seals and river otters. Tigers, leopards, gibbons and budgies can also be observed feeding at certain times of the day. Fascinating animals roam in the exhibits dotted throughout the park.

Stand face-to-face with a Sumatran tiger and snap photos of the greater flamingos. Watch cute otters lying on their backs and laugh at the funny antics of the red pandas. Marvel at the Galapagos tortoise and see if you can find the rare snow leopard.

In the hot and humid Central and South America Tropical America Rainforest, you’ll find plants and animals from exotic realms. Explore this and other indoor facilities, such as the ZooLab, the Wallaby WalkAbout and the Animals of Asia.

Bring the little ones for a ride on the model animals of the carousel for an additional fare. Inspect the selection of items, such as clothing, jewelry and stuffed animals, on display at the Zootique Gift Shop.

The zoo has an admission fee, with discounts for kids and seniors and free entry for toddlers. Parking is free. The site runs a Junior Zookeeper Program, enabling students to learn about the inner workings of zoos.
