"Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Our room and ensuite were spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. Dinner at the inn and breakfast were home cooked and delicious. Hint: order the fresh fruit salad with yoghurt and honey drizzle at breakfast, also the venison casserole and beef & ale steak pie are definitely worth trying. Heather is quite the chef!"

"What a place to stay at Garvault House! It's literally in the middle of nowhere, no light pollution and views of pure wilderness for miles around- amazing location. Food provided was very tasty and dinner becomes a very social setting where everyone is on the dining table, although you can sit privately next door if you wished! Rooms could do with a bit of modernising albeit not too much to take away from the charm of this 'off grid' location. No TVs either, but WiFi and phone signal still good if that bothers you during your stay"

"Room was clean and everything in good working order. Also pet friendly which was a bonus. Only issue for us was the parking. Doesn’t seem to be enough spots for the number of units. We went out for dinner and couldn’t get a spot when we returned and had to park on the narrow road."
