「Very clean hotel and attentive staff. Continental breakfast was excellent. Had problem with our tv remote and they took care of it asap. Will definitely stay here again.」

「Everything was clean and the staff were great. We did have an issue with the lock sticking on our door so we couldn't close the door. But otherwise everything was great. It's in a quieter location a little outside of Boone.」

「The property has to be repaved. There is broken pavement EVERYWHERE. The rooms need more lighting You cannot have no food available on property other than 3 sandwiches in the pub. You should be truthful about when the restaurant will reopen and should let people know when they book. Rooms were cleaned extremely well daily by the maids Mens bathroom at the pool was a complete mess with towels everywhere and uncollected garbage overflowing the can.」

「We might have just come during a time when they were understaffed, but the day we checked out it was impossible to find a single employee to help us. We didn't need the breakfast but wanted a cup of coffee before we headed out and had some other questions and we went to the front desk multiple times, even walked into the dining room, and never saw an employee. There was a sign on the table where they clearly usually have coffee but it was never actually there. Overall it was an easy place to...

「Clean room. We stayed in a "cabin", which has 4 apartments in it. Older property. Could use updating. Very clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Grounds were lovely.」

「I have been to a lot of hotels all over the world and the Horton is my 3rd favorite! The staff members were all extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was amazing. The interior design is exquisite, they skimmed on nothing. They are so attentive to the details too, like coffee and snack stations on the upper floors. The rooftop area is really beautiful with spectacular views. Love the Horton!!」

「The location of the hotel is the best thing the hotel has going for it. However, the facility is worn out and has not been maintained. Carpet is worn out and dirty. Rooms are dark, furnishings are worn and dated, no attention to details (back on TV remote missing). WiFi inconsistent and addressing the issue not possible until the next day. Landscaping overgrown making walking to facilities a challenge. Sealed double pane windows have lost seals and are frosted over. I hope the owners will...
