"Great hotel at the center of the city. Walkable to all major sights. Eating, shopping and public transportation within 5 minutes walk. We arrived early and at checking was told the room was ready, but need it to pay in order to check in early. So we waited until check in time 4:00 PM. This was part of multiple countries trip and was able to check in early everywhere else. Just something to have in mind when traveling there."

"The hotel is very unique since it is a converted prison. The decor is appropriate to help Maintain the character while also making it modern & well appointed. The breakfast & dinner were fantastic & an added bonus. Although unaware that it does not have many vegan options which required our daughter to eat elsewhere. They are working on improving the vegan options. The rooms were well appointed with a safe, fridge & the bedding we found extremely comfortable. We had a nice view of their garden outside. The staff were extremely helpful & accommodating . It is right across the street from one subway line & an easy 10-15 min walk to downtown. We would stay here again & recommend it to others."
