Welcome Return Visit

I have stayed here before and hope to again. Right in the center of town and an easy walk to the train & bus station. The single rooms are small,particularly the bathrooms but the location, breakfast and friendly, helpful staff more than make up for tha. And there’s a pool and sauna!

Das Zimmer war nicht so sauber wie erwartet: die Vorhänge beispielsweise hatten auffällige Flecken. Überhaupt könnte das Hotel eine Renovierung gebrauchen, das Interieur ist nicht mehr modern. Ansonsten war das Personal nett und das Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend.

Pysäköinti oli helppoa ja kuului huoneen hintaan. Siitä voisi olla selkeämmin mainittu joko varauksen yhteydessä tai jo hotellin nettisivuilla. Huone oli siisti, mutta kulunut, hotellin yleisilme oli melko kulahtanut. Aamiainen oli oikein hyvä ja monipuolinen. Palvelu oli erinomaista.

Vessanpönttö vuosi tai ainakin joku osa siitä. Lattia märkä koko vierailun ajan ja vessassa piti käydä kengät jalassa ettei sukat kastu. Vessanpöntön ympärystä täynnä myös jotain valkoista. Todella epäsiistin näköinen. Muuten huone siisti.

Henkilökunta vaihtunut, ei niin ystävällistä kun ennen. Ilmastointi niin kovalla ettei pystynyt kunnolla nukkumaan, aamulla ei enään pitänyt mitään kovaa ääntä kun herätiin. Hotellin ovi meni lukkoon ettei saannut auki kortilla, kun vietiin tavaroita autoon kouduttiin siivoojalta puytää huoneen oven avausta että saatiin koirat pois sisältä. Hyvä puoli oli vain se monipuolinen aamiainen...

Hinta/Laatusuhde OK. Edullisimmat huoneet jo sisustuksellisesti vanhoja, mutta kaikki kuitenkin toimii. Huoneissa ei ole ilmastointia. Ilmainen pysäköinti oli mukava yllätys. Hyvä sijainti + hyvä palvelu.

Mikkelin Scandic oli keskeisellä paikalla. Kävelymatkan päässä lähes kaikesta siitä missä halusimmekin käydä. Itse hotelli kaipaa lähitulevaisuudessa pintaremonttia, varsinkin saunaosasto, mutta henkilökunta ei! Henkilökunta oli koko hotellin suola, varsinkin tarjoilijat.
