Lovely stay! The owner was absolutely charming and breakfast delicious and very good quality! The corridors and rooms are renovated which is nice. The curtains do not block the street lights properly and there was a lot of noice from the street until 10pm and starting again at 6qm so prepare for that if you are a light sleeper.

We really enjoyed our stay at Opuntia! Pleasant, friendly and professional management and staff made the experience even better. Rooms were inviting and comfortable… and nicely decorated. Breakfast was incredible. We will definitely stay again next time in Mijas.

We stayed in a family room for one night, it was spotlessly clean, staff were so friendly, the bed was very comfortable, hotel was perfectly located to explore Mijas, we’ve done day trips to Mijas several times over the years and this is the first time we’ve stayed over night, we’ll definitely come back to this hotel and stay longer next time!!

Carmen was an excellent hostess and so friendly. Rooms are clean, modern andhave everything we needed. The breakfast is outstanding with a great choice. I would recommend Opuntia to anyone who wants to stay in Mijas. Location is perfect.

Very attentive and polite staff throughout. Welcome drinks on arrival. The room was fantastic,clean and very modern. Nights stay was comfortable with a lovely bed. Breakfast was fantastic. Could not fault a thing and we will be definitely staying again at some point.

Parking was our only issue here, but ultimately we found that public parking was acceptable, and with a short Uber you are in paradise at the door. Visit the Bull fighting ring! An unforgettable experience and destination that my lovely bride and I may return to in the future!!!!

Opuntia is right in the middle of Mijas village. The rooms were bright and modern. The towels were thick and fluffy and everywhere was spotless. The breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend this hotel to anyone
